  • Doesn't anyone else see the elephant in the room?
The Raider's nobody D line totally shut down the run game, a whole bunch of -yard plays and a bunch o 0 yard plays.
The rushing yards by RB's was dismal.
I know they were loading up the box to stop the run, but the RB's were running into the backs of their own linemen.
Shit, Walter Payton couldn't have gained anything.
The only savior for the passing game is RW's legs to get out of trouble and make positive yards out of a bas situation.
    The play-action pass works much better if you're a 2nd and 5 than 2nd and 9. ( or 3rd and 9).
I'd love to see Lynch meeting up with LBs a few yards downfield (and dragging them another 5).

  • Its the 4th pre season game, where a bunch of backups played. I am not going to worry about any unit as a whole during the game.

    THIS-

Same thing happens week one, maybe worth mentioning. The whole offense for the most part was 2's 3's and future jobless geeks on the street.

  • The Raiders were over-selling to stop the run, most likely because they wanted to take a good look at some of their fringe roster guys.

In a real game, we would kill a team doing that every down.

  • None of starting lineman were in there after the first series or so.
