Did they ever report how bad he was hurt on that catch. The broadcasters mentioned something about a possible concussion. He catches everything

He did get a concussion per Ian Furness. Still makes the team.

Sounds like he did sustain a concussion from what I've heard so far.

I didn't notice the helmet smacking the ground the first time. I was re watching ther irst drive and looked specifically for that. It was quite a thump on the turf. Hoping it isn't too serious

Would hate being in Pete's shoes this weekend. Such horrible timing and Harper didn't help himself tonight. I am thinking he makes the team given he looks like he has developed chemistry with Wilson. 58 yard bomb right?

Williams is a lock. No brainer for the final 53 at this point. Top 5 WRs are set IMO.

Harper did not help himself at all tonight. Dropped TD and third down conversion; both placed right on his hands. You have to feel for the guy.

INCORRECT.

It's a setup.

He was instructed to muff those catches so we could sneak him on to the PS.

He got right back up and look like he got his bell rang a little. Worst case he sits out next week, and is good solid depth when we need him. That and he was standing on the sidelines in the 1st quarter, so it couldn't be anything too major.

That's encouraging

Carroll didn't sound all that concerned about Williams in his press conference and said that it was more a matter of the team being "overly cautious" than anything else. Williams should be okay.

I think Harper played himself off the team as well
Agreed. He was horrible. I was really pulling for him too. At best, PS player cuz I still think he has some promise. Just not game ready yet.

That 50 yard catch was freaking awesome....yea, but when Stephens head hit the ground, it looked like it bounced pretty hard...OUCH!!!

Williams is a lock. Even with Wilson's half assed throw.
Harper just imploded last night. Like the conspiracy theory there though!

I want to look at that play again, but its hard to criticize Wilson for throwing the ball short and still throwing the ball 60 yards. The worst I could say about Wilson is that he threw the ball late, not short.

I honestly need to watch it again, but first impression was it just wasn't on the mark. Somebody has to critique the lil fella just to keep his feet on the ground.

When Harper dropped the TD that hit him in the hands, this is exactly what I was thinking. I would love to see him stick on the practice squad. :snack:
