  • Eh, if you combine familiarity with the system, respect of fellow teammates, physical and mental toughness, and the ability to take the team to a .500 record when the starter is out, then I suppose T-Jack has to be on that short list, sure.

But I have to assume that we're all completely cognizant of and in agreement with the fact that we are not - in any way, shape, or form - talking about Jackson's abilities as a STARTING QB. Even Jacksonfan has to acknowledge that, right?

This is my first, ladies and gents! I will remember this forever.

T-Jack throwing Seattle Stampedes to Dr. Death was fantastic entertainment.

high physical ability that he uses to pass first instead of run

Ok, jacksonfan (not capitalized, by the way), I agree with Dom in saying that polite Jackson-fan-boy-ism is ok, within reasonable limits. Keep things to a dull roar and you will be fine.

But, this is not a group text message, it is a Seattle Seahawks message board. Big difference. It brings sooooo much more credibility to your assertions when they are typed using capital letters where necessary, decent grammar, and (for the love of god) punctuation. The alternative just shows laziness and a general lack of respect to the rest of us. Really. We are (mostly) all adults here and appreciate a caring keyboardist.

    That is all.

  • Credit to TJack, he looked very good last night. But, he's a 8 year veteran going against mostly rookies so he'd better look good. When he plays against starting NFL talent, he doesn't look as stellar. He's a Seahawk and I'll support him if he plays (but at this point I hope he doesn't).

...plus TJack was playing most of that last year with a torn pectoral muscle wasn't he? I think if you factor in his familiarity with the team, the coaching / bevell play calling, the fact the players like him, a better offensive line, his pec isn't torn any more, and now he has personal improvement coach robot Russell Wilson to help him be a better player....I think he is a solid much better than average back up that we can count on with some good upside. But let's see how he does for more preseason before we rush to say he is the guy.

Plus you gotta love the fact he was secretly rooting for the hawks while he was riding the bench in Buffalo :)

Awesome post pointing out the things I missed. Would you rather have Charlie Whitehurst?? If Wilson has to miss a game, I will look forward to seeing how he does rather than dreading it.

btw, I was damn impressed with his performance last night. Good job Tarvaris! He loves the Seahawks... Let's return the love.

  • For all of you who think and post that TJac sucks

A couple of things to think about

Pete carroll and John Schneider (two great talent evaluators wasted no time bringing him back. These guys know TJac very well. Hmmm maybe these two are stupid.

Second the teammates loved him. Probably because they know who blew the assignments and realized TJac was getting blamed by the fans for other players mistakes. They also probably had a good idea of how hurt that TJac was. Oh wait the players are stupid too for liking TJac.
