The painfully long off-season officially ends tonight with the opening kick-off. Now we have real game play to look forward to for the next 6 months.

My kid is counting the days for the Hawks vs Green Bay game.

Not because of football mind you(he is a Seahawks fan), but because Pixel Junk Monsters comes out that week for PC.

My daughter could care less, though she likes to draw me seahawk pictures.

However, the girlfriend on the other hand is just as excited as me (Which I didn't think was possible). She posted yesterday on FB that she was sick to her stomach with anticipation of the game tonight. Good woman...

For years preseason games meant very little to me. But I have grown to appreciate them as tool to see the young pups battle it out for a roster spot. Last year watching Wilson was a blast. Today I am as about amp-ed up for this game as I am for the regular season. Yeah, I know!
