Does anyone else have the same concern for Marshawn as me as it pertains to fumbles? In his last three games, he fumbled in each, losing two of those at critical times of the game. I hope this is a fluke and not some trend that is on the horizon.

If he falls off we got 2 other talented runners to pick up the slack, I'm not in the least bit worried about the RB position.

How else? Did you ever see Dave Krieg play? The master of fumbling when there was no contact.

No denying it was a problem in the post season especially because it was in critical situations.. but what did he have 4, 5 fumbles all season? i don't see it as an issue when you look at the overall season.. From what i remember he was extremely not happy with himself last year in regard to those fumbles.

I am actually quite amazed that for a rb that runs and fights so hard and is so difficult to bring down he does not have many more fumbles than he does. I am truly happy w/ that part of his game, no worries here.

Pete's comment about the lack of rubber on the treads or what have you was concerning

The fumbles in the last three games were brutal, especially in the Atlanta game. That really killed some early momentum as I recall. Hopefully he addressed it and we don't see many more next year.

The last thing I'm worried about is Lynch fumbling.

It happens every once in a while and is just a characteristic of his running style.

We just have to take all the good with a little bad.

The one against Washington was a fluky. The defender's helment hit the ball squarely in the perfect position to dislodge it. I don't see it as an issue at all. Ray Rice had a bigger fumbling issue for Baltimore in the playoffs, and I doubt their fans are panicking over it since he's generally solid in that regard.

What I love about Marshawn is that he puts it behind him quickly. Came up with huge game-changing plays late in both playoff games.

Not a big concern for me. I think it was at least in part due to being a bit worn down in Dec/Jan. With an expanded RB stable this season, plus improvements in the passing game, I see Marshawn making it to the post season in better shape than last season. At least if the coaches game plan to use all of the new weapons they have added.

He's only fumbled 19 times in his career. Compare that to Adrian Petersen, who has fumbled 26 times. Those are the two best RBs in the game right now.

Heck, Russell Wilson has 6.

No, i'm not worried.

Ask Dave Krieg or Mark Sanchez.

I'm not too worried about fumbling. That can be worked on. Marshawn typically doesn't have a fumbling problem over his career. I think he was playing hurt and worn down at the end of last year, and I think the additions to the RB position, coupled with Turbin having a year's experience will help out Lynch.

Adrian Peterson had a fumbling problem in his first few years. Players knew that he would fight for yardage and you could get that ball out. Chicago was famous for making him fumble; that defense was already good at creating turnovers and they got to AP. I didn't hear anything about AP having a fumbling problem last year during his epic run, so it seems he worked on it.
