I think they could be top 5 in both, but I think it will be more like 3 defense and 7-8 offense. I see Houston, NE, NO, Denver, NYG, GB, ATL and even Detroit having better offensive numbers just based on their passing games. If SF didn't lose Crabtree, they could easily be up there too.
The Hawks are still a running team first, but the passing numbers will be higher with the addition of Harvin alone. Some of it is the schedule too. Niners twice, Houston, STL x2 and even AZx2 have pretty tough defenses.
That said, the Seahawk offense really came on and looked like they could score on anyone. Damn Harvin could literally explode playing here with a guy like Wilson.
If you really think about it, the schedule is actually pretty favorable for the defense. NO at home, which leaves Houston, ATL and MAYBE NYG with serious firepower on offense. There is a part of me that is not the least bit concerned with the Giants. I might have left someone out on that, but out of the rest of those teams I see the defense being a good match up.
The only concern I have and I mean only is that Bevell will get cute and pass even though Lynch is gaining yardage. 1/30/2015 - loaf
