Yawn. You'd think that we'd have learned to stop being outraged when he says negative things about the Hawks after the last 20 or so times he's done it.

It looks like he got into the 80s of his list and thought "Oh yeah! i forgot about the Seahawks!" and then tried to bunch them all together right there. with the exception of Sherman and ET

I've already reserved 60 minutes to watch Bruce mimic the bicep kiss after he sacks ol 'one-read' for the second time in the first game.

I dont have a big problem with him trying to make a list, but I dont think he has any idea how to rank offensive linemen and how to compare them to other positions. Joe Thomas is clearly the best offensive lineman in the league, not Marshal Yanda.

By grouping Luck, Wilson, RG3, and Kaepernick all together, he also doesnt really know how to rank the young QBs and where to put them.

Klapperdink is not the Quarterback that Wilson is, never will be. Not even worth reading.

Just look at that photo of him at the top of the page. Man he looks stupid. He gets paid to post crap so either he's smarter than he looks, or he has something on somebody :)

Not sure how Aaron Rodgers is the top player. He's a great QB but you could easily edge him out of the top 5.

Man I think these guys are losing it at CBS. I opened up a bunch of links of other lists and articles and the points they make are hilarious! I said "wtf?" a lot.

For example:
Jason LaCanfora:
"trade back into the first round to take receiver Cordarelle Patterson, who might never pick up the pro game and likely could have been had in the second round."

"The Bountygate debacle is over, finally, and no longer hanging over them (and excuse me if I am still completely hazy about what exactly allegedly went on there and why this franchise deserved the unprecedented penalties)" He's an NFL journalist but he's "completely hazy" about "what exactly allegedly" went on? It was there in black and white, on paper, alleged by the NFL. Maybe his glasses were foggy?

He did make some good points though, and his take on Miami I believe, is a legitimate one. Love that he went against the grain and says KC could fail.

I still can't believe Greg Hardy lasted until the 6th round, sorry short circuit from the draft corner of my brain.

Mike Freeman on overrated players: (again some great points but a few ball scratchers)

Jay Cutler is overrated: "In Denver and Chicago, he has had solid weapons around him and good backs. Yet despite a strong arm he has won a solitary playoff game. One. Cutler is Jeff George.

Chicago's offense has never been ranked higher than 23rd. Blame the previous coaching staff all you want but Cutler's passer rating was pedantic even after adding the explosive Brandon Marshall."

Jay Cutler has never had an offensive line or a legitimate running game since Shanahan.

THere is this interesting tidbit though! These teams will never win a Superbowl if they continue this kind of game management and keep picking defensive players high (Detroit).

"Some great statistics from ESPN's Paul Kuharsky shows this. The Texans were one of only four teams -- the Bears, Chiefs and Lions -- that targeted one wideout more than all of the rest combined. Johnson was targeted 58.1 percent of the time"

Wow, these guys keep drafting defensive talent in the 1st round but ignore the receiver position because they place too much importance on the success of one player. Sure their Superstar Receivers are good, but it's like Michael Jordan, the early years. MJ scored 40, 50, 60 points and more, and his team went nowhere.

LOL! This cracked me up from the "Underrated" list, number Three!
"3. Sean Lee, LB, Dallas: Will be a star in this league. Almost already there. The only thing that kept him from being No. 1 was an injury last season." Golden Tate says hi :th2thumbs: "teehee"

I can't see this guy as underrated though, maybe a year and two ago, but not now, not with 12.5 sacks from the interior of the line!

"10. Geno Atkins, DT, Cincinnati: It's not a coincidence that the Bengals' playoff resurgence is in conjunction with the growth of Atkins. He's that good but remains a hidden gem to many in the sport."

Josh Katzowitz with his "Top 10 Owners you would want running your team" had this to say!

"#2. Jim Irsay: Compared to his father, Bob, who was much maligned by many of the people who knew him, the 53-year-old Jim is an absolute godsend for Colts fans"

Good lord! He would be a disaster if he were the GM of the Colts! Katzowitz must be one of those guys who voted what's his face as Exec of the Year 6 times for picking Peyton Manning 1st overall then turn around and do the same thing with the guy that picked Andrew Luck 1st overall! Is that all you have to do to win that award? Make the most obvious decision in the world? :34853_doh:

Then the same guy has a Top 10 most impactful free agents, #10? Connor Barwin? Huh? He's "okay" but he's not an impact player. Barwin benefited from playing opposite of JJ Watt.

Oh and Jason Licknfurball says Chris Ivory is a breakout player to watch for the Jets. The reason? "The limited duty with the Saints left plenty of tread on his tires even despite his violent running style" Uh, he was injured, and has been injured, a LOT.

At Washington State Ivory was "Limited by injuries" then: "In August 2009, Ivory was dismissed from the Washington State team for violating team rules"

So he transfered to "a Division II school in Tiffin, Ohio" where he promptly "suffered a season-ending knee injury." Well not promptly, but I think we all see what's going on here and where he (and with him the Jets *cackles gleefully*) is headed.

Interesting side note: "Another strong performance in Week 11 of 2010, with 23 rushes for 99 yards in a 34-19 win over against Seattle, led Seahawks coach Pete Carroll to call Ivory "a freaking stud out there."" Cool huh? :D

But sadly, there is this bit of information about the beleagured C.I. "Ivory ended the regular season with 137 rushes for 716 yards (leading the team) and 5 touchdowns, but he also suffered repeated injuries during the year; after a foot injury in the Saints' last regular season game, he was placed on the injured reserve list and was unable to play in the post-season. Ivory spent the first six games of the 2011 season on the PUP list"

Man, this poor guy can't win for losing. I feel bad for him but again, I cackle gleefully knowing that the Jets! Jets! Jets! gave up an early (7th pick in the fourth) 4th round pick for Ivory and then game him 10 mill over 3 years. It will be interesting to see how Dion Sims, the 6'5" 262# TE from Michigan State turns out since he was the result of the pick (#106).

I really appreciate those authors as they provide us all with non-stop entertainment but nothing is funner than picking apart someone's paying article with common sense and a search engine. :stirthepot:

That's a list devised by a hack who's been told, by his editor, to write something controversial. Nothing more.

Kaepernick over Wilson makes this list a giant joke.

Huh? I think Wilson will prove to be the much better QB in the future but at this point its debatable.

Please try not to be such a homer

Stating the obvious doesn't make you a homer. Kaep is a good QB obviously, but in the clutch, he isn't and won't be as good as Wilson. If that makes someone a homer, so be it.
