What grade do you give our draft as a whole? Don't forget to include the Percy Harvin trade as part of our grade.

I'd give it an A- or B+.

Harvin gave us the best value of any pick in round 1.

I think Michael and Harper will bring a lot of excitement and flexibility to our offense. Both will contribute as rookies.

Simon and Williams are both very good values in the 5th round, imo.

Ware and some of the others are good picks for the future.

The only thing keeping it from a full A for me is that I would have liked to see an offensive linemen a little bit earlier. Maybe in place of the tight end? I also thought Hill was a bit of a reach, but what do I know, he might prove to be the best of all of them.

Don't think you can give this anything but an A if you're including stealing Percy as a late 1st.

After Harvin, I say we are average at best with all the no names they took. Only hope is that they are right--------------------but then again, they have been right most of the time, except that LB they enended up giving to Raiders, ol what's his name, starts with a C--- the same grade I give our Hawks this year--------solid C

I give it a B only because Harvin is basically our #1 pick. Other than that I'm just not sure what to think right now.

Percy Harvin will be paid far more than a rookie salary, and we gave up more than a first, so that has to be factored in.

We have to remember who we have doing the drafting here... PS and JS. I have to say that I was taken back by some of their choices in the beginning, but they earned my trust when the majority of their picks really panned out for us. I'm really excited about this year, but really bummed that I couldn't get season tickets.

I'm really happy so many resources have been spent trying to upgrade the middle of the d-line. It was a real weak area last year and now the Hawks have signed 2 FA DTs and drafted 2 more. Wonderful! Draft, an A- factoring Percy in.

I gave an A for effort. These picks all had character issues or injuries BUT we didn't have a lot of ammo to work with.

Loved Harvin, Michael, Hill, Williams, and the safety.
Felt the wide out and TE were wasted reaches.
The rest ?? With 2 picks we missed talent available getting too cute.

Excluding the Harvin trade and simply based on who was drafted, I give it a B; I'm just confused about drafting RB's. and some of the 6th/7th round guys probably wouldn't even have been picked up anyways. Love the Williams/Simon picks though.

if not for this FO's ability to draft wisely I would have gone with a C- probably.

I like physical players that's what they drafted a solid B , this grade excludes the Harvin trade and FA.

B, got a lot of possible future starters

-Christine Michael might get his chance in 2 years, dude has LOADS of potential to be a feature back.

-Jordan Hill will probably get his shot this offseason

-Chris Harper possibly next season depending on what happens with Tate and his contract negotiations

-Jesse Williams will get his shot more than likely this offseason

-Tharold Simon WILL be Browners replacement, BOOK IT

Everyone else? who knows, but Ware looks like the violent runner we're always looking for.

I'll give it a B. I was totally on board for the Christine Michael pick, but the Ware pick had me scratching my head, admittedly. I love just about every other pick, though, especially Jesse Williams.

B. Here's why:

Percy Harvin was a grand slam for the first rounder. He alone is worth a fairly decent grade. We also have what appear to be a couple of future starters in guys like Michael, Harper, and/or Simon. Maybe a couple others. The only reason I bumped it down from a A to a B was because those future starters are in positions we're fairly good in already. If they'd been in areas of greatest concern last year (such as pass rush specialists) this would have been an outstanding draft.

It's solid, and may well turn out very well. For now it's good, but could have been a bit better.

Harvin gets a A++.

The draft though gets a B, I liked it, but it's what I expected. We didn't need much, and honestly I only see 4-5 spots on the roster that these guys will be fighting for. Jessie Williams and Hill are on the team unless they get hurt, and Micheal seems like a pick for a year or two down the road. Harper will compete for a spot, but I also won't be surprised if he is on the practice squad.

Seattle is in win now mode, and we didn't have much needs really except DT, possibly DE, but I think we have guys who can get pressure on the QB. I know some think we need an OLB, but our coaches obviously thought much differently and the draft proves that.

Huh? You know that was the previous GM (Tim Ruskell) who drafted Curry, correct?

I gave it a B. Ware is going to be used as FB but with running skills. I think he will be fine. I am intrigued by Powell. He could be a sleeper. Not sure about any of the OL picks but I think the DTs stick around. Sounds like Williams is being penciled in as the Branch replacement for now (1st and 2nd downs). Simon looks lie he can be in the mix to backup Sherm/Browner. More likely will be in the Jeremy Lane role with mainly special teams early.

Some character/injury risks keeps the grade at a B for me.

Scheme players or special teams guys. Seahawks are loaded, creating opportunities for diverse specialist packages, creating a competitive training camp environment, and filling in depth.

2-3 years of development and they will make some expensive guys take a pay cut or force them to move on.

I give them an A. Percy Harvin and Christine Michael are the type of big play guys that Seattle has rarely fielded. The result of this draft is that they have two additional playmakers that score from anywhere on the field. Throw in the Anquan Boldin clone, the stout DT run stuffer, the athletic freak of a tight end, the interior pass rusher, the corner with the long wingspan, and I'm very, very satisfied.
