I'm pretty excited about the top 100 players of 2013... hawks should have a pretty strong representation! The show premiers saturday april 27th

http://top100.nfl.com/

I thought it would be fun to do a just-for-fun .net game with it -

Golf type scoring - lowest score wins.

1.) Name the players from the Seahawks (including off-season adds) that you think will be in the top 100 players of 2013, along with which spot you think they'll be chosen in.

2.) Points are given for every spot away from your pick the player is chosen. For example if you say Russell Wilson will be 50th but he is 70th, you'll get 20 points. Or if he goes 30th instead, you still get 20 points.

3.) Automatic 10 point penalty for naming a player that doesn't end up on the list at all, or leaving off a player that is on the list.

4.) Automatic -10 point bonus for getting all seahawks players, in the correct order. No bonus if you name or leave off any players.

5.) Automatic -5 point bonus for every exact answer (if RW goes 50th after you predict he goes 50th, -5 pts for you)

6.) Rookie QB's Bonus -5 pts bonus if you correctly identify the order that Wilson, Luck, and RG3 will appear on the list from Highest to lowest (highest meaning closest to #1)

7.) U mad bro bonus -5 pts during each players spot they often have a couple guys talk about the player. Since we can assume Richard Sherman will be on the list, predict one of the players (one submission only) who will provide commentary on Sherman.

8.) Wilsonism Bonus -5 pts "if" RW is on the list, predict what Wilson catch-phrase we will hear during his spot. If we get multiple wilsonisms they all count for points, but only one submission per entry.

Good luck! sorry if my scoring is goofy or in advance if it takes me forever to add up everyone's scores but this is just for fun.

Feel free to edit your posts until the premier of the show; anything edited after the fact won't be counted.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR:

#95 Max Unger

Nobody hit that one exactly but KK84 was 1 point off with a 94 guess.

Here is my best guess; predicting we get 7 this year. What's crazy is most of them are on offense.

Was a little hard to predict...with ed reed declining Thomas is likely to be the premier safety in the league. Harvin was about to blow the doors off last season before being hurt so i dont know how much that will hurt what woudl have been a top 10 guy. Sherman is one of the best players in the league and has made a name for himself. Lynch was one of the best backs in the league. Wilson is obviously going to be on the list, and okung/unger were both pro bowl starters at a time when a lot of the other T/C in the league are getting older and declining.

12 Sherman
29 Harvin
37 Thomas
50 Lynch
72 Wilson
88 Okung
99 Unger

Rookie QB's: Griffin, Wilson, Luck

U Mad Bro: Larry Fitzgerald

Wilsonism: "be great today"

bump in case anyone else wants to participate in this prizeless, mostly pointless, but fun game even if it's just to make me have to spend that much more time tallying scores.

NOTE:

I gave no value to this the last few years after the all-time 100 NFL players didn't give a sniff to Jones/Largent or Tez. Now it appears this is a fan generated list, so again I have my grumpy old man attitude toward the NFLN. My list is tongue in cheek. I am sure the Seahawks will get a little more love this year. I may actually watch a show or two. Season cannot get here soon enough.

Earl Thomas at 21
Marshawn Lynch at 43
Russell Wilson at 68
Percy Harvin at 98

2. RGIII, Luck, Wilson in that order.

3. Darrelle Revis talks about Richard Sherman

4. Go Hawks!
