Hello, longtime reader, 1st time poster.
I'm curious what everyone thinks about Michael Bennett. We all know he's here on a 1 year prove it deal, but what if he is the missing piece for our D-line? What if he is the guy that allows the entire d-line scheme to work flawlessly? i.e. He requires double teams constantly and still gets his 9+ sacks, allows Irvin to really shine and win his now one-on-one battles because of his presence and just all around lets our D-line wreak havoc on the opposing QB. If he is that perfect piece for our D-line, do we think about resigning him at all to a long term deal? He's still pretty young and would be entering his prime. We have a lot of big $$ questions coming up in the next few years, but do you think PC/JS would aggressively try to resign him?
