Ed Werder‏@Edwerderespn3m
Source says Seahawks engaged in trade discussions involving backup QB Matt Flynn and a deal appears "imminent.'' Trade partner unknown

Brock just mentioned this on 710espn radio

Just came across this tweet suggesting link to Cowboy's

JohnEMack‏@johncmack3m
@DavisHsuSeattle Since Werder broke this, I can't help but think the Cowboys are involved. Probably because that's all he used to cover.

Curtis Crabtree‏@Curtis_Crabtree3m
Oakland Raiders only have around $3 million in cap space. Don't think they make sense (right now) without additional moves to cut money.

And now it's come full circle . . . back to OAK

Jason La Canfora‏@JasonLaCanfora17m
If the Flynn to Oakland trade gets completed, as expected, look for Seattle to consider Tyler Thigpen as a back-up to Russell Wilson

Well the only team reported to be "seriously interested" is the Raiders, so I have to guess that it is to Oakland.

If it's the Raiders, I'm expecting no less than 5 1st round picks

Man, I really don't like this. It better be no worse than a 4th.

I'm sure they have a plan, I just don't like not knowing it lol. If Wilson goes down... then what?

Well if he wants to move on and get a starting job, then all power to him. Just wish we could keep him in case Wilson gets hurt.

This could get interesting. I really hope it somehow includes a 2nd rd pick, but I doubt it.

I'm wondering if we sign Abraham as soon as this trade goes through?

Wouldn't be surprised at all. I've figured all along we'd either get value for him or keep him. Getting value for him seems to be the best overall option. I am just interested to see what the plan is for a backup when it does happen.

I am hoping for a 3rd. That is what a good backup QB is worth (or so Bill Polian said when we drafted Russell Wilson). Anything less than a 3rd, and I really feel we would not be getting equal value, considering we would need to use a draft pick on a QB or sign a mediocre vet now.

Yeah, it's really nice to have the added security of a good backup like Flynn.

Raiders haven't got many picks to trade with this year, have they?

I am willing to put a dollar down in Vince Young being announced as signed right after this trade

I think they're mostly OK now from all the dumb moves the late Al Davis made (Richard Seymour, Carson Palmer, Jason Campbell, etc).
