I don't want to sound like a hater I like Russel Wilson and I hope he does well, but the problem with QBs the live off there running ability don't last long in the NFL. Drop back passers win super bowls. Explosive plays happen sometimes, but consistency is key. He needs to learn to drop back and stay in the pocket

Stats while in pocket:

Comp. 198
Att. 305
Pct. % 64.9
Yards 2,449
Yards/att. 8.0
TD-INT 22-8
NFL rating 102.8

Why do I even torture myself reading the comments? :?

Anyways, good stuff, keep it up Wilson!

Twisted doesn't use any sites for his stats, he knows the stats. :D

Unfortunately that is a false opinion that many people have about Russell Wilson. It comes from their only exposure to him being highlights on ESPN and hearing the media talk about what a great running QB he is.

Hopefully this year Wilson can put those opinions to rest (his stats already should have, but hopefully people start to catch on).

Another stat to keep in mind (off the top of my head so the number may be slightly off).....in the red zone he threw 20 TD passes and ZERO interceptions (the zero I know is correct). That means he's seeing the field nearly completely and making the correct decision nearly every time and only running when necessary (as in when no one's open).

Been waiting 38 years for you Russ. So glad you're a Hawk.

Yeah, Dougie Fresh has been in contact with our Meetup group and we are arranging a Wounded Warrior benefit for some of the practices. It is gonna be very cool to meet all of them.

Rob, if you get to Russell, get an autograph for me. Tell him I have MS and managed to hobble to the Detroit game last season to see them play on the road.
I am so jealous of you right now. I would kill to meet that kid. He truly is amazing. :)

That above quote about Russ not throwing it the pocket has to be from a whiner fan...

who all is down there with him?

I think all the receivers are going.

TE Sean McGrath is quoted in an interview by Clare on .com talking about how they are all going. If McGrath is invited, then everyone probably is.

I know I read somewhere that Lynch was going, too. I'm guessing it's the entire offense minus the o-line.

most QBs do this sort of thing to be fair?

Not sure if they that is true or not, but possibly. However, if true, how many of their teammates are as stoked as ours to practice with their QB?
