Grrrrr . . . my guess is they turn to Branch and/or Jones and look towards the draft.

Schefter and PFT both reported he has signed with the Browns.

Lame. Do love that browns defense. Now if they could get a QB. Or a WR.

New #Browns DT Desmond Bryant numbers: Five years, $34 million. $15 million guaranteed.

..

Yeah too much after Harvin.

I'm fine with it then for that price. This draft is loaded with DT's that can get up the field. If we really do get John Abraham (Or Freeney/Osi for that matter) then I would be shocked if we didn't use our second round pick on a DT.

Not worth that money IMO.

28 this year too, so already in his peak. And his peak is decent run stopper, not much of a pass rush threat.

Seeing how Harvin's deal doesn't take up much cap room this coming season can we afford to sign Seymour and Abraham to 1 year deals or maybe 2 year deals that are front loaded?

Bryant is a malcontent hack with off-field issues. Glad that we didn't spend the money on him. :sarcasm_off:

Browns are shooting for their first championship in a very long time.

Even if that means being the offseason champs.

Hope we're on the phone with Jason Jones right now.

Conversation should go something like this... "Detroit? SeriouslY? C'mon man."

Agreed. Jason Jones' value just shot up. Hope the Seahawks find a way to re-sign him.

Could have used him but I guess we weren't going to pay that much. I think signing a Vet DE is a priority and resigning Branch or Jones is a must.

Now that Bryant is off the table, I wonder if Vance Walker is going to come in to play.

I would also be talking to Richard Seymour.
Jason Jones
John Abraham
Good to go to the draft

Wonder if he will give a Josh Brown "I didn't do it for the money, this is a winning franchise" speech.
