Read option with wilson and lynch with a Percy Harvin pitch option if Wilson keeps.
Can you imagine defending that

I like the thought, and its fun to imagine, but the true triple option like that leads to more hits on Wilson... whether he keeps it or pitches it.

I'd rather just stick with the read option like we ran last year. Although I do expect to see Harvin back there next to Wilson, instead of Lynch, at times.

I see this happening on a frequent basis. This transaction serves many purposes and one will be offering Lynch a breather while creating havoc for the opposing D. Turbin filled in OK..but I doubt his (or Washington's) presense will rattle a D like Harvin's.

I think his speed and YAC is the biggest thing, and considering how Wilson is already fast it could make the option lots MORE fun.

Meh. Why think about Harvin totally in terms of the option? RW won't have to scramble for 30 seconds waiting for somebody to come open anymore. D's will be more prepared for the option, so it's better used occasionally to keep em of balance.

I truly expect Darrell Bevell to watch a good bit of old U. of Florida tape to get some additional ideas on creative ways to effectively utilize Harvin which may not currently exist in his playbook, particularly with regards to misdirection plays. Not that he didn't do that when he had Harvin for two years in Minnesota, but that was with Brett Farve at QB. Now with Russell Wilson, Bevell for the first time has a unique ability to truly recreate a lot of what Urban Meyer did with Tebow and Harvin at UF if he so chooses. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Wilson lining up as a WR with Harvin taking direct shotgun snaps from time to time. Not a lot, but just enough to make other teams have to prepare for it.

the Hawks don't need to do anything stupid like have Wilson doing a QB option an put the entire season at risk. Wilson will do his thing if they jus do what they did last year and let him keep developing his game in the pocket I want him to turn into the hawks version of drew brees not michael vick.

RW doesn't like using his legs unless he has to to keep the defense honest. The whole point of the new read option facet is that Wilson can throw accurately from the pocket and put the ball in the hands of the playmaker best able to advance the offense. Not adopt a bunch of wishbones and triple options Cam Newton style and get laid out for it. He is not a running QB, ask him.

Haha! Too many people wanting to turn him into Newton or Vick just for the wow factor. Careful what you wish for cause that 'wow' will be snuffed if he's on IR. The dude's got a brain, can read a defense and runs as a last resort. The emphasis should be on further developing his play from the pocket, now that we have someone who can get open against darn near anyone. 'Percival' will draw a lot of double coverage as well. Wow! that name almost sounds as wicked as Lucifer. There's the wow factor for all you young pups! Put that in your fantasy FB pipe and take a nice, long draw on it 8)

Just the thought of a Wilson, Lynch, Harvin backfield is thoroughly satisfying.
