  • No doubt. An upgrade! The offense will definitely miss him though. They better activate Norwood. He is a better WR than Lockette and Matthews and obviously Walters,

  • Our Special teams return teams are pretty mediocre/pedestrian so may as well be one of the WRs.

    This.

I gotten to the point where I respect Walters service. He get's the job done. A fair catch is better than a muff or another player who's explosive but has the chance to fumble.

  • If Walters is the best man for it, so be it.

But dammit, with Richardson out we are going to be seeing Walters on the field A LOT. The Hawks will be playing with 10.5 players on offense.

May times PRich took it out and only got about 10 yards +/-. Better to just start at the 20 and get Beastmode going.

  • I'd put Baldwin back there just to make sure they kick it deep (and we take a knee). If I'm GB and I see Walters out there I'm kicking it to the 2 every time and daring him to return it

Hmmm I'll have to re-listen, but I heard him say that Daniels can return, catch and run the ball as well as play qb, but I didn't hear him specifically say Daniels was the backup returner. Earlier he was asked who would return and he wouldn't answer. He is likely being coy, but he may put it up to competition through the practices this week.

  • Let's sign Nate Burleson away from NFL Network. You know he'd jump at the chance to be a kick returner for the Hawks again. Plus he's a backup WR.

(I don't really want this to happen, btw. Just thought it would be interesting).
