I'm going to be annoyed if it's an announcement that his wife is pregnant. I mean, if that's it, then congrats/that's cool/etc., but preceding non-team news with a "big news coming" Tweet like that is just wrong and misleading.

why would he tweet "get ready" if it was just about him having a kid?

It's gotta be a trade, or something big for him in a Seahawks sense.

I doubt it's Seahawks related, honestly, I bet it's personal or promotional. I can't imagine him even hinting at a move based on inside info, he's too professionally minded for that, I think.

It better be. Who builds tension like that for a "I'm having a baby" tweet?

Since Gonzalez (TE) retired, is he eligible to sign with us right now???

UFA-yes he is able and I predict that is what this is.

also if its just a kid why wouldn't he just say it?

Sounds to me like an acquisition of some sort seeing as how he wouldn't be able to give details until the team officially announces it

It wouldn't be about an endorsement or anything, otherwise he would just announce it.

I doubt it's a pregnancy either.

It's something that is in the works...which points to trade.

If it's not the baby thing......I'm gonna guess that he's going to headline some sort of youth football camp.

I doubt he's filed his papers or whatever the process is, so I imagine he's the same as any other upcoming FA, not being allowed to be talked to/signed until FA starts (though that's not adhered to). Still, I think Gonzo is only coming back, if at all, to play one more year with ATL.

Then why not just announce it? Doesn't make sense.

Everything's exciting to Russell. It could be anything from new baby to he got his oil changed and then found a wheat penny on the sidewalk.

It'd be sweet if we're trading Flynn and a 2nd or 3rd for one of the really good DTs somewhere.

Are wheat pennies a big deal?

That was my thought too, but I couldn't get the thought to my finger tips :les:
