So I flew out to Seattle for the Jets/Hawks game earlier this year and had an amazing time in one of the greatest cities in the world, all while watching the Hawks stomp out the Jets in front of my friends... all Jets fans. I hadn't been to Seattle for YEARS and being back in the state of Washington made me realize how much I love it and how I want to go back as much as possible. My goal and my hope was to go to 1 game a season in Seattle. Reasonable but as always, there's a but...

With the Hawks coming to the Meadowlands (MetLife) TWICE next season, one being the Super Bowl, it'd be pretty impossible to have the $ for a Seattle trip as well. Then, it hit me...

Fly out to Seattle for the parade! Seriously, there would be nothing greater. I wouldn't have to spend $ on lodging, a game ticket, etc, just the flight! On top of that, a friend of mine works for Delta and would give me a buddy pass as long as I took him with me! Bingo! I love it when a great plan formulates, the only thing better is when it falls into place!

Seriously... that parade would be ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!

Already have a savings account set up specifically for a Superbowl and a trip to Seattle for the parade after.

Which will never happen(anti-jinx).

Whenever Seattle wins the Super Bowl, I am arranging a simultaneous parade in New York for all the East Coast Seahawks fans. We will start at the same time as the Seattle Parade.

The NYC parade begins at Lincoln Center. Everyone convenes with their full Hawks gear & 12th Man Flags. We will have music playing Bittersweet Symphony on a loop. I will try to get a local news station to cover the event.

We walk up Columbus Ave. to the Museum of Natural History where we all run up the steps 'Rocky Style'. Then we cut through Central Park stopping at Strawberry Fields for a quick tribute.

On the East side we walk over to Lexington Ave. then head uptown towards the Mecca of Seahawks football in NYC - Carlow East. At Carlow there will be several speeches including NYCCoug, Pat the Bartender, Matt Flynn's sister who lives in NY [assuming he's still on the team] and myself.

Afterwards the Red Hook & Hawkizake shots will flow well into the night until we all stagger to Jackson Hole for a few burgers...then downtown to the Three of Cups in the East Village for an all-night reminiscing of the season.
