Just looking at Sidneys Contract and he's do to make a lot of money over the next 3 years(8.5,8.5 and 9 million). So it got me wondering if it was a possibility that the Hawks cut or trade Sidney, and maKe a move for someone like Mike Wallace. I think Mike Wallace would be pretty good in over Offense with Russell scrambling all over the place, but i also like the freedom we have in Sidney's contract with some big names coming up in FA the next couple of years.

That FA out there is always the next great thing. We gotta have him, we gotta have him. :sarcasm_off:

Sorry, I like Sydney Rice. I can't support your effort to combine your keep 'em fansatsy team with my Seahawks. ;)

Sydney's a good guy. I'm sure he realizes he's in a great situation again and is probably willing to restructure his deal. He's got the influence to pull Harvin into Seattle if Harvin isn't happy in Minny. Rice is a keeper for his personality and work ethic.

Question: Can you have too many Harvin and Tate type receivers? My guess is probably NOT--that is if you can afford them all right?

I picked Sidney too so clam down, just wondering who the board would choose.

I'd rather have Sidney. He strikes me as much more of a "team" player. He catches everything thrown at him. He was banged up a little last season, but he played in every game.

If anything, I wish they would feature him more in the offense...but that's not really the style of offense we have now, it's much more of a spread it around thing.

And the Harvin angle...Harvin is under contract with the Vikings in 2013. They could trade him, but I doubt it.

Easy mistake to make considering there's A: there's a pretty big city called Sydney, B: Sidney is an uncommon name, and C: Sydney is a name in it's own right

Yea, I also hope they work Sydney into the offense more than they did this year. My bet is Sydney will work himself in more by getting healthier and by getting more reps with #3 in this off-season. That's partly why #3 was so optimistic going into the off-season.
My predictions for 2013-14: more BIG plays and fewer close games.

I really like Sidney and what he did this year. I think he will be even better next year. We should keep him.

Wouldn't it be crazy if she marries a guy named Thomas Sherman Wilson-Browner?

Voted Wallace. I don't trust Sydney to stay healthy.

This. I cant back it up after last season, but it's just a gut feel.

Wallace would be perfect, he's never really played anyway BUT streetball. Maybe he would be better suited for Wilson's style? For whatever reason, Wilson would be left with no options downfield after extending plays.
