Simple question. Assuming he remains pretty much injury-free throughout his NFL career, do you think he ends up in the NFL Hall of Fame?

Conditional, but yeah, if we win a SB or two with him at the helm.

Being a Super Bowl winner gives one a decided advantage when being nominated. A QB would have to be a Divisional winner for many years in order to be considered.....and most QB's do not last that long. That being said....seems that I heard many a media pundit pontificating that a QB under 6 ft. would never make it in the NFL!

Way too early to tell. I'll wait til I see 2-3 years worth of play. But at this rate, I'd say so.

This is hard, with his draft class he will always be in competition with Luck, RG3, Tannehill, along with Kaep with his emergence. If he can out play them and win a couple Super Bowls especially against Tannehill and Luck he will get in.Weeden is also in that mix but he did not have the year the others have had.

Might be a bit early to call....Let's give him at least two seasons before we start the petition to get him into Canton.

I bet if you tell Russell he can't get into Canton, he will do it.

If I had anything to say about it, he'd already be on top of the short list. :thirishdrinkers:

91% says yes. I know it's a Seahawks forum, but that is just awesome.

There's something very very special about this kid and everybody knows it.

The Lewin Career forecast voted yes. Who am I to disagree?

He's already broken down game tape and sent it to the selection committee.

So far the kid has a career QB rating of 100.00.

When his career is all said and done, will it be better or worse than that?

I just can't see this kid not achieving his goals, with the kind of ability, talent, drive, and passion he has.

Yes, absolutely.

Isn't he already in the Hall of Fame of the below 5ft11 QBs in the NFL? I mean, how many NFL QBs his height have won more games and a playoff game?

If he continues to play the way he is playing now, I don't see why not. We'll have to see how the next couple of seasons pan out. I remember when Cam Newton was stellar his rookie year, and suddenly fell off the map the following season. Obviously they are different QB's, but I'm just saying it happens more often than not. I would love to see Russell put up similar numbers next year, or even slightly better. Knowing what we know about Russell Wilson, it's hard to say that someone like him will regress into mediocrity. I want to see Jimmies get Russell'd for the next 10 years or so.
