Seen this linked in the NFL subreddit of..err.. Reddit... Great piece about Pete Carroll while he was in USC but also lets you think about how he is now.

Ah yes. I remember this article. This article and the story 60 Minutes (I think) did on him made me wish he was our coach. What an awesome human being.

loved this line. it's so true...

Carroll gave up fear long ago. He gave it up the way people give up carbs. Fear now has no part in his daily life. Fear is like an old, distant friend. They know each other well, talk once in a while, but they’re not close like they used to be.
