no way, are you talking about pulling Wilson out for a few plays during drives? Talk about messing up dudes rhythm and such! Did we not see what kind of trouble that causes when the Jets came here and got smacked?

Even Pete had some things to say about the way they were pulling Sanchez out after 2 completed passes to have Tebow go in and screw up the game more!

No, Tebow wouldn't be run in like the downs syndrome kid from Snohomish High School, if brought to Seattle. He'd be a #2, period. And, actually, this offense matches his strengths. He wouldn't be asked to drop and throw to spots, drop, read, make a play.

  • I'd want a veteran that can close out a game, sell play action, take a hit, and be accurate on at least intermediate routes. This team is good enough, Wilson is good enough, that it's hard to justify a young, developmental QB. You just want a guy that can beat teams that the Seahawks should beat.

Scotte is right. Grossman makes some sense. Gradkowski would if he had an arm. He's a tough dude and good teammate by all accounts.

  • What is the deal with Flynn? You guys paid a quite a bit for him after just one 500 yard performance. Did he not look good in camp or something? Us Niner fans were really confused when PC went with RW and not Flynn after what you guys paid for him.
    DISCLAIMER:

The trash talking that I do occasionally this week is strictly for gamesmanship between opposing fanbases as a result of our upcoming matchup this week on SNF. It by no means should be taken personally.

His contract figures are kind of inflated.

The rest of your post makes no sense. Its like questioning the Kap pick.

  • Why not give Josh Porter a chance? I think he could run the read option. He's couldn't be much worst then some of these other QBs being suggested.

No, he could not, he's tough as hell, but he isn't even on the same planet cerebrally as RW, AND because if he could, there would have been no reason for going after Flynn.
Seneca Wallace (except for his age) might be able to mimic RW somewhat, spread the ball around, and showed that he knew when to unload the ball when time ran out, Jackson?, he played one side of the field way too often.

  • Colt McCoy. I rather have him then Seneca. As a back up I think he would do rather well. Young, got some experience and most likely cheap.

Flynn wasn't bad at all, he could've started for this team and we'd still be a playoff team. Just Wilson was THAT much better than him.
