I know this is corny, but one of my favorite movies is As Good As It Gets. I love this scene and the very end is fitting.

LMAO! I knew when I typed the topic that I was gonna get some well deserved ribbing... Totally deserve it. But to be serious, the final line is so true and how I feel about that new QB of ours. It's not often you are so moved by a sports figure's personality that he challenges you to be a better man. Russell Wilson has done that for me. Scott nailed it in his post earlier...
First of all, isn't it nice to know our quarterback position is not an area of weakness for the next few years, maybe even a decade or more? Chalk up a few wins every year for the forseeable future just because the best quarterback in the NFC West, and one of the top 5 in the league is probably breaking down that loss as my digits hit these keys. The league is Witness, and so are you. Revel in it, players like this guy are rare. As are people like Russell. In fact, let's take just a second and celebrate Russell Wilson the human. I see and read the effect he has on people who resolve to do better in life because they admire how he is living his. Lets not Deify the man, but lets all take a moment and see how we can imitate his best. Do you know where your nearest children's hospital is? Do you know that you don't have to be a football player to volunteer your most valuable resource, your time? Russell knows. Positivity and a humble attitude can be contagious. We saw what it can do to a team, see what it can do for you. I know I will try my damnedest.
No Viagra needed but indeed, 2013 will be all about utilizing some of his core philosophies to better myself as a person. I think that's the best part of all when it comes to having this spectacular kid on our football team.

He simply defines the word "Role Model", with every ounce of his being.

I remember a post game interview with Golden Tate and he was asked about Russell Wilson. You could clearly see he was trying to formulate the right description. He ends up saying that he basically thinks Russell Wilson is the "perfect human being". That should not be lost on any of us. I've heard a lot of accolades in my day from teammates, but I have never once heard that before. I was not in the least surprised.
Obviously he's not perfect, no human being is, but the fact that a fellow teammate even said that tells you the level of character this kid has.

He is an ass-kicking robot posing as a human.

About 5 weeks ago, my daughter (10) and I were watching the NFL network and an interview with Russell came on. I really wanted to hear it, and she was singing to herself or talking (you guys know the crap little girls do). So I asked her if she could be a little more quiet. She did as I asked, and half way through the interview my wife came in from the kitchen. My daughter tells her "Mom you gotta be quiet Dad's boyfriend is on tv again"
Long story short, the man crush is very very very strong with me, so I know how you feel. He also makes me want to be a better person. A better husband, father, boss etc. The craps contagious

LOL! Yeah man, I know the feeling. It's embarrassing. I'm 44-freaking years old and I am so smitten with this kid I can't even believe it. I'm about at the point that I am going to be saying to myself in every damn situation..."What would Russell Wilson do?"
