These guys have done an incredible job with stocking this team with talent. The one move I and a few others questioned was letting Michael Bennett go a few years back. Dude is a good young pass/run specialist putting up good numbers. We could have used him this year and especially today. Hopefully we can get the pash rush and interior run stop fixed especially the rush. Killed us most of these close losses.

That was Timmah! who blew that, not John or Pete.

Hasn't it been decided that Bennett was released during the Ruskell era?

They did let Kevin Vickerson go, who would have been useful, but wouldn't have been the difference between winning and losing today.

I am pretty sure he was released by Ruskell.

This is correct. Lest we all forget the "Kicker of the Future" debacle?

To keep an extra kicker if I remember right? Ruskell was such a freaking knob.

Ok so it was Ruskell. He would have come in handy today.

Kicker thing was in 08 I think. We even cut Jason Babin to keep the kicker. Bennett and Babin could have been a deadly duo.

They should've kept Rob Sims to play LG. Dude isn't All-pro but he's a far cry better than Carp, Sweezy and Moffit IMO.

As long as we're piling on the bad moves by Pete and Jo... uh, I mean previous front offices, how does drafting Aaron Curry over Michael Crabtree look right about now.

I really, really wanted Crabtree in that draft. I was bummed we didn't take him when we could have. And now he's blowing things up for a division rival. Yea, that smarts.

They signed Matt Flynn and had 3/4ths of .net calling JS/PC crazy & stupid for not starting him and going with RW. The rest is history.
