who would have thought at the beginning of the year that it would be our offense that would be the strongest part of our team... we were use to expecting our defense to dominate and keep us in the game and hopefully the offense could put up some points..
today it was completely different... still hoped our defense could keep it close, but we all knew the offense would come in and put up some points.. i was thinking shootout... if we can lock up the run D and get a pass rush, who is going to stop us next year.... very exciting times.

The offense did let us down, the entire 1st half. The only times we got close to scoring it was big chunk plays that took up little time.
By halftime our defense was gassed and hanging their heads; they looked dejected. When you travel as much as we did, you have to protect your defense. We didn't and that's cumulative. You don't get less tired the more the game goes on.
If the offense could've just sustained a couple of drives in the 1st half, the D might've been fresher at the end of the game.
