  • I believe alternate jerseys are not allowed in the playoffs; regular season only. Gray pants would be allowed.

  • Pretty sure they announced earlier that the hawks will wear all white again and the falcons are wearing their red

    I'm pretty sure they have to schedule the alternates in advance with the league, so it's highly improbable to ever see them in the playoffs. I'm sure they'll be seen again next year though

  • I re-watched the Buffalo game last night on DVR (50-17, Russell ran for 3 TDs and threw for one more, all in the first half just in case anybody forgot).

    If voting, I'd go with the Wolf Grays.

    I now have every Hawks Win this year on DVR.

    Saving them for my off-season entertainment.

    Why? You like they way it highlights sweat stains? Or the way it helped them blend into the background on TV? If they'd wear blue pants it'd be all right, but all grey is about half a step less stupid than lime green jerseys. I've never seen people get so hyped up about a uniform that almost completely lacks any color or personality. I don't mean this as a personal slam on anyone, but they're fricking grotesque.

  • I personally vote to get rid of the Wolf Grey next year, and bring in a one year 1983 retro alternate.

    For 2015: Bring back the grey, but darker.

  • White jersey white pants 2-0
    White jersey grey pants 0-3
    White jersey blue pants 0-1

    We can't wear blues because the Falcons are wearing their home reds. We can't wear greys because alternates are not allowed in the playoffs. Considering the remaining options I think it's a no brainer.

  • Everybody is high on the wolf grey and they do look sharp.
    That said once the players started to sweat the effect was not pleasant. They need to darken them up a couple of shades.

  • I swear I saw the Cowboys wear an alternate in the playoffs and the Lions might have too, as they ended up wearing their one game throwback for the rest of a season because they did so well in them. Not sure if they got some kind of waiver or what. They had solid silver helmets, solid royal blue shirts with silver numbers. Cowboys unis were white with a star on the sleeve and a different helmet. Looked like pre Roger-Staubach days unis.

  • If you look at wikipedias third jersey page, alternate jerseys are allowed in the playoffs, but not in the super bowl, so we could wear wolf grey.
