I liked the part where he was jawing with the ref, daring him to throw flags.

For those that dont know what Sherm and RG3 was talking about, Sherman (even though he was at Stanford) advised RG3 not to go there when Harbaugh was recruiting him.

No wonder people complain. Cus Sherm really gets into peoples heads. How can you catch a football with him all up in your grill?

You missed the line right before that: "You suck!"

I'm happy to see that it was Trent Williams that stepped to Sherman. Basically a punk move, but he apologized. Also loved the mutual respect between RG3 and Sherman.

Great stuff.

I was surprised at how there really was nothing said to Sherm. He cut the trash talk and was being a sportsman, then turns and sees a guy in his grill. I've seen that look before, and clearly Sherman had too. Love this fuckin guy.

Video clearly shows that Sherman didn't do anything to provoke him after the game. Williams must have still been pissed about the scuffle early in the game.

Thanks for adding that. You know that must piss Harbough off if he sees it. That was so clear with the above clarification. "Been so proud since you spurned us". Didn't want you to go down that road....

And yeah boom dude in my face guess I should ask him what he is goin to do next LMAO

And finally for those that don't think bulletin board material and comments during the week gets some guys going that is proof right there. Sherman was all over the disrespect by Garcon

This was fantastic love this dude glad he's a Seahawk...and Trent Williams can eat shit and die for that cheap shot he's got over 100 lbs on Sherm and barely moved him with that jab...love to see him try that on Big Red and see what happens.

Oh yeah, I totally feel ya. But you're exactly right to each their own. I dig what he brings to the table, I'm even learning a thing or two from Sherman and I think our team would be missing something if it wasn't for him.

When I first saw the video I thought it looked like a scuffle that gets out of hand and was excusable.

Watching it with audio puts it in a whole different level, Trent Williams is scum and it pisses me off that he is getting off easy on this one. He went up to Sherman while he was congratulating other players with the intention of starting something and that was a hard unprovoked hit to the face in national television.

He needs to be fined for this, and then some. Worst part is the "word on the street" is that Sherman deserved it and poor Trent istoomuchofapussy for the NFL Williams was a big man for apologizing for being caught on video being a douche

Love the trash talk. The mental game is just as important as the physical. Sherman is obviously a student of this concept, and backs it up on the field. Must have been watching some Shannon Sharpe videos when he was a receiver.

Trent Williams is a little bitch, haha. Can't handle a little smack.

After watching this (and that's not the whole thing, I'll be watching tonight), and the Russell Wilson one, I'm filled with a tremendous sense of gratitude. Thank you, Coach Carroll, and thanks to John Schneider for bringing these guys to the Seahawks. Things could be so much different for this franchise right now. Everything looked grim when Pete took over. This roster sucked, we had an aging QB quickly losing his effectiveness, we had a worthless defense, we had no heart and no soul. In just 3 short and fun-filled years, PC and JS have turned this team into a hard-nosed, no-nonsense winner with a stellar physical defense, a fantastic violent run game and now a star franchise QB. They have turned this team into a winner, a team permeated with the desire to win and the belief that we are bigger faster and stronger than everyone else. I love watching this team play. I'm going to enjoy watching us compete in and win several superbowls over the course of the next decade. This is our time now, and it's all thanks to Pete and John.

Trash talk is part of sports...some of the best athletes, hall of famers were legendary for it, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan,LT and Deion Sanders...it is part of the game. If you can back it up then do it.

"Sherman is a size prospect with some good intangibles that will help him mold into a contributing backup corner for a press-heavy team. However, he does not possess the natural coverage instincts, fluidity or burst to be considered a future starter. Is comfortable and capable in press man, using his size to disrupt receivers' releases off the line, but doesn't show enough make up speed to consistently recover when beaten. Awareness in zone and off-man are only adequate. Has average ball skills but some upside as a playmaker. Tough against the run but still developing from a technical standpoint. Sherman is a Day 3 prospect."

Combine analysis...maybe this is why he has a chip on his shoulder

You think there is only one reason for him to have a chip on his shoulder? You can't even count on one hand the reason why he should have a chip, man. If he doesn't get all-pro, the system is broken.

I think if you've ever talked trash during a game, like really go hard at it, and seen the effect it has on you, you'd understand. It really amps you up. But you have to get over the fear of failure, because if you fail, it's obviously a lot more embarrassing. If you get over the fear of failure, you feel invincible. It's evolutionary biology. "I'm talking and nothing bad's happened to me. I survived! Nothing can hurt me!". It's a rush. It's not just to get in guys heads, that's a rationalization. It's to get into your own head. It seems to change your hormonal makeup, probably secretes adrenalin and testosterone. It makes you confident and you feel scary to other people. I don't think it's literally possible, physiologically, for Sherman to play the way he does without talking.

People hate it because it's not humble. And that's also the reason it's so powerful. If you want the Seahawks to be better than other people you have to let them feel better than other people. All winners do, anything they say contrary is false modesty.
