Could the 2005 squad travel to D.C. and beat RG3s skins?

offensively i think they would got about the same, defensively im not sure if they could have contained him to 14 points.

Tough to say. Our defense was better then but not our offense. Though for the last 3 quarters...RGIII was no more effective than Mark Brunell in 05.

I say yes, because I don't think they start in a 14-0 hole. Lot of vets on that team.

I think our slow start was in large part because of how young we are.

Gawd... why is everyone so down on our '05 team?

The 05 team would have scored more points and right from the start.

Their type of short pass/runaftercatch would have killed the skins.

All I remember is Josh Brown missing a field goal and we lost......so my vote is no.

How soon we forget. '05 team would have won handily.

Our 2005 defense was pretty good too lets be fair, they would have got a lot of pressure on RGIII and he'd probably have been out of the game a lot earlier.

But how much would that field have effected our short passing game? Can't be sure.
Certainly our O-Line would have allowed a lot less pressure.

2005 team is really underrated. They had an offense that could do whatever it wanted to you whennever it wanted. Defensively, the 05 team matches up with this team pretty well, maybe its been a while but its extremely underrated around here.
