I thought Zach Miller had a first down by forward progress

And that Pete should have challenged thatnspot.

I wonder if his spot challenge in the 2nd half may have been partially a make up for not challenging the Miller spot.

Thoughts?

He wasn't allowed to challenge it since it was under 2 mins in the half

Terrible spot and should have been reviewed by the booth, but you can't really expect that I guess.

There were tons of fans on twitter asking why Pete didn't challenge. I guess the heat of the game they didn't notice the under 2 minutes deal. Saw the same thing in our Gameday Forum. If Pete challenges that shaky one he did, you know he would have if he could have on the Miller spot. Good job by the defenders in keeping Miller from extending and making a nice tackle.

The challenge issue has already been addressed, but ya, he should have been awarded the first down, or at least had a re-spot and measure. It was obvious.

Well...the Refs got the "spotting" correct for at least one play....we held them an inch short of a First Down!

I actually thought Miller was short of the first down, though the spot was terrible.
