When it became apparent the 49ers weren't losing to that awful awful Cardinals team.. what the Vikings win did was give the 49ers the 2 seed.. why does that help us?
Well.. with SF locked into the 3 seed, they'd have surely played on Saturday, likely putting us in the dreaded 10AM PT time slot against Dallas or Washington.
Now.. it'd be a major upset if the playoff sched didn't look as follows:
Sat
Bengals at Texans 4:30 PM ET
Seahawks at Redskins/Cowboys 8:00 PM ET
Sun
Vikings at Packers 1:00 PM ET
Colts at Ravens 4:30 PM ET
I like this teams chances.. but a 10 AM kickoff is not a fun spot to be in.. so happy we're probably avoiding that.
