Our rookie quarterback finished the day 15 for 19, 250 yards, and a touchdown to take a share of the rookie TD record, and a 136.3 quarterback rating, in spite of taking six sacks from a porous line. Well done! Well done indeed!

We need to bench him and get someone decent in here.

Missing 4 passes in that game,,,,,unforgivable!

Unreal his numbers turned out that well considering how little help he was getting early on.

When I saw that stat line I was absolutely surprised. I would have said 12/23 for 168 yards based on the beating he was taking and the duress he was under. It was nuts.

And he tied the TD record with 182 fewer pass attempts than Manning had in '98.

I bet his QBR isnt really good because I think that QBR factors sacks taken into its figure.

I'm missed most of the game but am wondering whoTF was giving up all those freaking sacks. I could care less who's DL we're playing..that's hideous. Epecially when we have an slippery QB who's already helping them out a great deal.

It was a collective effort today.

His season passing rating moves over 100 after today, and he sneaks by Matt Ryan and Tom Brady on that stat into 5th overall. Not bad for a rookie.

We need to improve on the aspect of getting the ball out faster. That might be on Bevell or RW or both but that is the best way to negate an over aggressive pass rush. That and a good screen execution. I'm very confident that is something we will see in the future.

It was much better in the 2nd half cuz they used misdirection rollouts a lot. Slowed their pass rush a bit....FINALLY!! And I'm with you on the other 2 factors, especially some damned screen passes.

"RW can't make it in the NFL. He is too short. He doesn't have the arm strength. He is no RGIII and no Andrew Luck" - Mel Kiper and the ESPN crew (paid millions to tell the viewers ...) lol
Why should anyone subscribe to ESPN anymore?

So very much crow served up today. Bets on when Corvus brachyrhynchos shows up on the endangered species list?

McCoy put a dent in his overall numbers, but the Rams did a fine job of bottling him up.

And 4 Rushing TDs. I'm thinking the 30 TDs might be a rookie record.

I think Cam Newton had more last year.

Cam Newton had 35 total TDs last year (21 passing, 14 rushing).
