...that it's better for San Fran to get the 2 seed instead of Green Bay? I think the Seahawks have a better shot at beating the 9ers at Candlestick than the Packers at Lambeau.

Dallas or Washington. Whoever wins tonight is where we go.

Yeah, I've had enough of watching the Seahawks travel to GB in the playoffs

I get that, but assuming we beat them where do we go.

Sorry, I misread your post

If we win and the #6 loses, we will go to Atlanta (lowest seed plays the highest). If somehow us and the #6 win, we would go to SF and they would go to Atlanta.

Considering Jason Smith is probably out for the season I'd rather play the 9ers than Packers any day.

Alright thank you very much, thats what i was wondering was if its lowest to highest.
So regardless...the seahawks path to the superbowl will go though a teams homefield that are itching at "revenge" if we manage to beat was or dal, and end up going to Atlanta we would be forced to play packers or niners in championship game....if vikings win...we play niners again. This....could get interesting.

If the Vikings and us keep winning can we host the NFC Championship game?

We've already beat most of the NFC playoff teams this year.

;)

Yep. Higher seed always hosts lower seed. Go Vikes!!

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but should we beat Wash/Dal, I think we then travel to SF, after their bye. Is this not accurate?

No, you're not alone thinking that. I'd much rather go on the road and roflstomp San Francisco than Green Bay.

I'm all messed up, then. I thought if we advance, we go to SF, while the winner of Minn/GB goes to Atlanta. All good either way (now that we got this ugliness out of the way).

Unless, of course, the Vikings beat Green Bay next week... The Vikes would go to Atlanta in that case.

Highest seed ALWAYS plays lowest remaining seed.

when we destroy Washington, we advance to play either san Francisco or Atlanta. Atlanta is the #1 seed, so they get the luxury of playing the lesser opponent, or in other words the lowest remaining seed. therefore, whether we go to san fran or Atlanta depends on the outcome of Minnesota/green bay. if Minnesota wins, they being the #6 seed would go to Atlanta (as we are the #5), and then yes, we go to san fran. flipside is if green bay wins, we go to Atlanta, because we are the lowest remaining seed, and green bay would advance to san Francisco.
