Hahahahaha funny post from RamsRule.com/herd/

Re: Is Seattle better much better than us

I saw that the 9ers were not. I don't see why we cannot beat them again. Who are we missing that will hurt our chances? What do they have that we do not have? That is what I would like to know. Should we be underdogs to a team we beat this year, a division rival? If not for home field advantage what edge should they have. We beat them when they were hot. They are hot now. Coaching approach and philosophy will make the difference. The coaching staff with the best game plan will win.

I highly expect a competitive game but I think a win by us would hardly be a real upset outside of media expectations.

I can see where he's coming from but this is a whole new level of hot. We will win this one going away.

I remember that game, we SUCKED at everything and even let them score their only touchdown on a fake FG. I honestly think we were far from "hot" in that game. Just turrible, turrible.

We were hot-ish coming into the game, having just beaten the Boys and the Pack. I can see how someone outside looking in would feel that way even though we all know we were quite far from playing our best football at that point. And we still should have stomped them out.

Our offense was running on 3 of 8 cylinders....but yeah, the defense was "hot."

As for what we have that they don't? They have a good defense, we have a great defense. They have a good RB, we have a very good RB. Bradford sucks, Wilson is awesome. Their WRs suck, our WRs are good. Their OL sucks, ours is decent.

They can hang with us if they play their best football, but I just don't see it happening.

Pathetic Rams fans are searching underneath every un-turned stone to find a hint of an edge that they think their team might hold over the Hawks right now.

Don't rag on them too much... they're just fans like us.

If the quoted Rams fan thinks that the Hawks were hot back in week 4, then we are SIZZLING HOT right now.

We not good football then. We good football now.

I would disagree. We'd beaten the self-destructing Cowboys and barely beaten the Packers with a score of 14-12. Before that, we'd lost to the Cards. I can't say that's hot.

Russell Wilson turned it on two games after our first Rams contest, lost it a bit against a very good 49ers defense, then hit the gas for real and never let up. The hot part of our season is right now.

Hey, I respect the Rams and their coach who will have them up to play for sure. (His teams are always tough and just barely stay on the right side of being "dirty." Barely.) And I'm a bit worried about a letdown.

But a Rams win on Sunday could only be called a major upset. That's just a straight-up fact that cannot be finessed.

We show up in all phases and we can win this one. We show up firing on all 8 in all 3 phases and send a clear message to the league and any opposition in the playoffs that something wicked this way comes! Priceless!

Go hawks!

How about pro bowlers? Or all pros? Rams have none and we do

To paraphrase what I'd like to tell students about essays or stories, "If you can't see why this team is better than the other, then go stand in the hall and look at them until you can." What do we have that they don't? How about one of the best corners in the league? How about a top 5 running back (sorry Jackson)? How about two Pro Bowl offensive linemen? And yeah, Bradford is good, but Wilson's from another planet. The Rams are a much improved team, but this guy needs to take off those blue-and-gold tinted glasses. The Seahawks win almost every matchup, and I'd be very surprised (and equally disappointed in the coaches) if we lose this game.

Let's summarize that game:

-3 interceptions, 2 at least off tipped passes
-TD off a fake FG
-FG kicker hammering unreal kicks that he is unlikely to duplicate outdoors
-dubious playcalling protecting a rookie QB. Some of those 3rd down QB draws were awful

Despite all that, the Hawks lost by 3 (right?) in St. Louis. I like the Hawks chances at home with the team, particularly Wilson playing much better.

This guy's not out of bounds. His team hasn't lost a division game. They beat us after we'd beat GB and Dallas. They beat SF and they tied SF. Bradford does not suck. They're an up and coming rival. They're going to start getting better and start challenging soon. This is the perfect game for them to be fired up for and try to make a statement. If I was a Rams fan - thank god I'm not! - I'd probably be thinking my team had a chance too.

Any Given Sunday.

That said, we're probably going to crush them.
