    Just saying.

But that would blow my theory that the Hawks will only score 34 points this week based on the trend since the 58 to nothing romp.

    58 - 8 = 50 -8 = 42 - 8 = 34

I base this on the look on Harbaugh's face at any point in the game last week.

  • Guys I have watched the Niners game a few times and I realized something, we were very close to winning this game by 50+ to 6, dont believe me? Jeremy lane had a pick 6 that he should have caught, Sherm had the dropped INT that would have given us another opportunity to score, the fumble that somehow miraculously SF recovered. That could have been another 13-21 points right there.

I'm sorry, this is not a fluke, this team is what it is.....a crazy flock of Angry Birds!!

  • I with Scott on this one. Going to be closer than most think. Fisher is a hell of a coach and I can guarantee he wants to go out of the season on a high note. If your out of the playoffs there is no better motivator than to knockoff a team heading into the playoffs. Fisher already has his eyes on next year and he needs to set his players' mindset. The Hawks need to be ready for anything.

It would not surprise me to find a kitchen sink somewhere on the field next Sunday.

But the Hawks are red hot right now. Let's finish this thing off the right way.

  • 40-9, Angry Birds. Remember, our defense held them to no TDs. I wanted to go with a shutout, but frankly, there is no way we're avoiding Legatron kicking a couple of ridiculous field goals.

Our scoring breaks down to 5 TDs, a field goal, and a safety.

  • I think the Rams are going to be our best opponent of the last month, because I think they are the best coached. I think our O will continue to play well and our D will be stout, but I don't think the turnover train will keep rolling like it has.

This is a game the Hawks 100% must win, there's no reason not to.

  • I suppose that, in light of recent success, the confidence of Hawks fans is understandable. That said, some of these picks are downright silly.

Even more silly is the notion that the Rams have "packed it in" and won't fight to win this one.

If anyone here wants to give me the Rams and 20 points, I'm game.

My (admittedly homer but hey, it could happen) pick:

    Rams 22
    Seahawks 21

A little bit of mortality is a good thing heading into the playoffs. They've seen what they can do when they're on, now remind them of what can happen when they aren't. Hubris is best left to crackers, even if it is roasted red pepper flavor.

Me. I'm old. I was watching the NFL for the last 2 seasons of Jim Brown's career. I saw Gale Sayers' 6 TD game (against the Forty Whiners LOL), etc. etc.....
Wow, a pic when they were the LOS ANGELES Rams. Remember Jack Snow? Roman Gabriel? Dick Bass? Lamar Lundy?
And btw, the pic of the drop in the end zone was a low blow man. One of our most painful moments in a history of many. Assume the pic is from the game the Hawks had like minus 7 total yards or whatever it was? Like I said, one of many. It's different now though. Russell Wilson man, Russell Wilson.

You seem like a fair and reasonable person especially considering your comment about Vick and Dunn running wild on your guys the next week. Man up and come in here take your medicine after our team whips yours Sunday. That'll prove you're no douche.

I predict a final score of 52-24 Seahawks with backup players playing on both sides.

  • I'm thinking something along the lines of 31-10....tied at 10 going into half time with Seattle getting the ball when they come out. Russell Wilson plays possessed in the 2nd half and we run off 21 unanswered to win while Kaepernick is throwing TD's to Pattrick Peterson. Seattle wins the division. AD runs roughshod over the Packers and Ponder plays mistake free while a missed block by TJ Lang gets Rodgers dinged and he's forced to sit the rest of the game, nothing serious though. Seattle wins the NFCW and gets the #2 seed in the playoffs just in time to host SF or GB again in the NFCCG in a couple weeks.

Holy smokes, I just checked some vegas odds and the Hawks are 10-11 point favorites. I can't remember the Hawks ever being favored by 10 or more.

edit: ha, same week Denver and SF are 15/16 point faves!
