Soundgarden is playing an incredible and intimate venue 3 blocks from my place and I have options on front row tickets.
in etiquette's sake I need to make a decision about whether I claim them or not.
What should I do?

Here's what you do, in alcoholics anonymous-style steps:
1) Step 1: Claim the tickets.
2) Step 2: Reserve redeye flight to New Orleans for later that night, and pay the $50 or whatever that allows you to cancel at the last minute and get a (mostly) full refund.
3) Step 3: Profit, and enjoy the shows. Both Soundgarden and the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl.

You should do favors to your ex so she tells us if the Seahawks go to the Super Bowl or not and if there will be feathers involved
