Thought it would be neat to start a collection of sayings from our new Franchise QB, sort of a historical collection of his 'Wilson-ism's" throughout his career with this team, or associated with this team since his arrival.
I will start by listing some that I recall since we drafted him, please feel free to add your own, and or organize them chronologically by date of occurance?
Also, any creative types that want to reshape or edit this collection into another more worthy fomat, please do so
It would also be cool to have a compilation of other sayings from any other players that define them or this team as well as pre-game/half-time or post-game motivational speech sayings, I've started a list for these at the bottom of this post
Wilsonism's
- NO Time To Sleep - Stay in the Now - Dont be afraid to Excel - My Height doesn't define my Skillset - I'm always on a constant quest for knowledge - Never get to high or get to low - You have to trust what you see - a 100yds is a 100yds
and lastly - thost most current 'ism I've heard is:
- the seperation is in the preperation
Sometimes you just gotta make a play when nobody thinks you can - RW
Random philosophy - I try to do everything I can to be uncommon - trust in what you believe and trust in who your are - I want to do something different that nobody's done before - You have to have amnesia when you play QB
From his DAD - there's a king in every crowd - there's a difference between talent and skill - god gives you talent but you perfect your skill - 3 P's: Perserverance, Perspective, and Purpose
Prior to being drafted him and his wife put all the teams names into a hat and then picked Seattle
Regarding his future after being selected in the NFL draft - My dream's already come true - I'm a Seattle Seahawk
His thought's on coming to Seattle - just be yourself, don't try to be something your not
Go Hawks
Seahawk-ism's
Name of Player - 'ism Sherman - My Brutha
Motivational Sayings - Who's House? Our House - We all we got, We all we need - We make the good teams look normal and the bad teams look horrible

Regarding his future after being selected in the NFL draft - My dream's already come true - I'm a Seattle Seahawk I've often wondered about this, whether it was a result of simply being pulled out of a hat, or whether there was a desire to play here before that. I know he and his wife were absolutely thrilled to come here to play, and you don't get that thrilled over being drafted to the same team you pulled out of a hat. I'd think so anyway. I'd be interested in hearing more about that sometime from him.
