Wow. I've never seen that kind of vile hatred on this board from Seahawk fans. We tease and make fun, but all the ill will and veiled death threats... we don't behave that way do we? (I must admit I stick to this forum, so I don't really know what goes on elsewhere.)

Thanks for the compilation. Eye opening. And hilarious.

Just read this from a 9er message board... made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
The board was a poll on who the fans didn't want to have to play in the playoffs, it was posted before the game. Tonight after the game a fan had this to say:

"Seattle. Homefield advantage doesn't account for 30 points. We are simply outmatched offensively. Wilson is inhuman and getting better every week. He plays with our speedy D like a damn yo-yo.

:th2thumbs:

Some of the best and most epic threads .net history have happened this year. The Manning thread. The Flynn thread. The Lookalikes threads.

This thread was my favorite of the year. I took my time reading through those and I think I laughed for a solid six minutes straight. It's just awesome having a QB that is so fun for us, and so mind-meltingly annoying for them.

My Ichiro comparison at the start of the season ended up being more on the money than I thought it was. Ichiro is/was one of the most annoying baseball players to play against ever. He got a hit a couple months ago by sneaking the ball down the pitchers neckhole and into his jersey. Seriously.

Wilson is almost worse. He's the loony toons road runner of the NFL. He deceives opposing fans into thinking they are just one big hit away from ending his career, only to watch him zip around untouched making NFL defenses look like the three stooges in the process.

OMG. I almost wish we could sticky this thing and leave it up all playoffs and off season! I heard some of the meltdown from my husband, but this...just made my year! :th2thumbs:

I swung by what is supposed to be one of the classier Niner sites, SBN's Niner's Nation. I read a some game thread and was shocked at the venom. I'm pretty tough to shock. The number of fans calling for injuries to Seattle players is crazy. I know why going to Niner games is so damn dangerous now.

Love the whining over the hit on Davis. Guys like Gholston do that all the time and I bet when that happens those hypocrites love in.

foxor, if that's all true, then I was rolling on the floor with glee. if not and you created that, you are a literary genius, as I rotf with glee! I lived 28 years in 49er territory and have been to quite a few games and I am very happy to finally get some validation. I no longer live there, moved to texas, but all my friends and acquaintances will remember me today. they may not remember me fondly, but they will remember me. well done sir! :th2thumbs: :49ersmall:

Wow, some of those were hillarious while others were just disgusting and classless. I know we say things in the heat of the moment during a game but holy crap their fanbase (with some exceptions) are a bunch of scumbags.

The best part though is that there's no doubting who the 49ers fans feel is their biggest rival. :D

I created that one, too... :th2thumbs:

...although, admittedly, the uniform thread was an amalgamation and I never dreamt it'd go in the crazy ass direction it went when I created it. That thread is owed to the craziness of all you wonderful bastards from this board. I love this board. Glad you guys liked this thread. I wanted to try to do something nice that you'd all enjoy, and when I went to the Whiners' forum and began reading their comments, it killed me, so I had to make sure to share. Merry almost Christmas, guys!

I wish I could take credit for creating those. But I found them here: http://www.49erswebzone.com/forum/niner ... read-week/

There are many more gems. Too many. So many I had to stop... :179417:

In fact, there's like 400+ pages of stuff in that thread. It started like a week before the game, where all of the Whiners' fans are talking about how bad they're going to beat us down...that thread should be cited as a case study in bi-polar fandom. Maybe we aren't as kneejerk as we all think. :thirishdrinkers:

What an epic win last night. This thread is amazing!

I have a buddy who is a 9er fan and he gave me his prediction of the game and I quote "49ers will jump out to a big lead and RW won't lead you back"

Good call!

the benny hill runs are scary as hell to watch when it's live but when you know russell comes out of them unscathed and usually the defense gasping for air, they are so fun to watch after. i wonder if he's laughing like a 5 year old everytime he makes someone miss. roadrunner indeed.

Thank you. That was great!

There are few things that bring as much pleasure as seeing your enemies
running in small circles squeaking hate.

What happened to that smug superiority 9ers' fans typically show.

Wow I just looked at their equivalent of "Random Thoughts" and they are calling for someone to take out Carroll and Sherman... Funny stuff, but incredibly classless. I'm almost shocked at some of those comments.

They also think Harbawww is the one who moved Sherm to CB, when Sherm did it after Harbawww moved him to the bottom of the depth chart at WR for getting surgery....

One thing to remember about 49er fans. They're Raider fans when the 49ers suck. And we all know what kind of people Raider fans are.
