  • Rams fans have already forgotten the last time they came up here in week 17 with a promising young team. And that was the 7-9Hawks. They're going to get demolished.

  • Found on one of the Rams boards:

"Very winnable game - It is my, and dare I say OUR Superbowl.
I hate this team only slighty less than the whiners and after last night I actually feel a bit sorry for the whiners. I have been in that stadium (2010 Rams playing for division). Their fans are untollerable and not all that bright. Just loud and obnoxious. Shutting them up would be beautiful."

I am a teacher and one of the "untollerable and not all that bright" fans so I must point out that the word this malcontent was looking for was INtollerable! If you are going to talk smack about intelligence at least have some weapons in your arsenal! The poster is right about one thing. It is a very winnable game, just not by the team he thinks.
    Go Hawks!

  • They were saying that the Bills in Toronto was a trap game, this has the makings of a real trap game. But after 35 years of Seahawks fandom, I have to say, this seems like a hawks team that isn't going to get trapped. Only beat by a better team.

Now if somebody can name a better team in the NFC.... I will start getting worried.

  • Seems like most of them are stuck on the fact that they are undefeated in the division and that they beat us earlier. Ok fine, being undefeated in the division is cool and all but this Hawks team has come together since they last played us and we are on fire right now. I predict at least a 28 point blow out if not worse.

    Rams fan here.

The ONLY thing that being undefeated in the division means is Rams did not lose to the Niners. Not once. They could NOT beat us in their house, and we won in ours.

To me, this has nothing to do with our game against you Sunday in your home.

You are playing off the charts beautiful football. Plus, you have a QB who is someone to appreciate. For sure. I hope you become a team to be feared. No reason to not say I love RW.

I want the NFC W to be the scariest division in the NFL bar none.

I do also hope the baby Rams beat you at home on Sunday, but I am realistic. We are the youngest team in the NFL and in the first year of rebuilding. I think you are in year 3?

Do NOT make fun of Rams fans. We have had nothing to root for for years, and now we do. You'll notice us.

I have utmost respect for all NFC W teams.

And since we are out of the playoffs this year. Seahawk SB. Take out the Niners.

    Who "woulda guest"???

A "guest" is a person invited somewhere.

I am thinking you meant "guessed". As in, you guess.

Well go ahead and "guess." I have been a Rams fan since I was old enough to watch football. And that's way longer than you've been in my division.

In my view, the Seahawks now look like a team I respect. Something new. And I embrace it.

  • Woops, girl, my bad

Anyways good luck Sunday! It should be a fun game. Fisher is really good so I do expect to have his team ready for us. There is a reason why the rams are unbeaten in the division. And honestly I'd like to see all the teams in the division be competitive as well, it's makes for some great games, and more of a rivalry feel to it

  • Red Allice makes a good point though about the NFC West. It is the toughest division in the NFL.

Simply put, you take the least amounts of points scored against a division, it's the NFC West (1140 PA). Take out the two blowouts the Hawks put down on the Cards and the Niners, it's even better.

Only problem with the Cards is a QB and a Secondary receiver. I don't know what the Rams problem is. Maybe Scheme, maybe not having a Legit/Healthy number 1/2 receiver. But from how they've been playing they may be working their problems out.

Personally I think their poor season was due to not wanting to run Jackson. Either way, I'm not sleeping on the Rams.

We have a REALLY tough division. No doubt about it.

It is probably hyperbole to call that the dumbest video of all time, but it might be the lamest. If I was to form my opinion of Ram fans from that video, I would have to assume you all ride from the group home to the stadium on your three wheeled bikes and park in the handicapped spots.

I'm sure your buddies food is great, but his video is AWFUL! But in a hilarious way. Slow Clap? Really?

Here is how to be a good fan: Make Colin Kaepernick's ears bleed. Drink beer. Repeat. No video needed.

"Like anyone could even know that, Napoleon!"

For what its worth, the Rams stopped using that video in 2011. Maybe Jeff Fisher agreed with you and threw it out!

I'll be at the Rams game this Sunday thanks to a friend of mine in the Rams Front Office .... a very kind old friend who provided me with tickets. With Jeff Fisher taking the helm ... the Rams are on the rise. Next year the NFC West is going to be even tougher!

  • A lot of us (Rams fans) arent expecting a win, especially given that the Seahawks are playing out of their minds right now. That being said, this isnt the same team you guys are used to seeing for the last 4-5 years. While this team is young, they play very well together under Fisher. The team is a complete 180 from last years team and even in 2010, where our record was a reflection moreso of the easy schedule than the overall talent. This year, the Rams have the 3rd hardest schedule, the youngest team in the NFL, and new coaching staff.

That being said, I still think the Seahawks win this game. I think it will be close in the 4th quarter, but the Seahawks put it away late in the game.

All 4 NFC west teams are top 5 in strength of schedule.

Your D is for real, that is true. and I am sure that in the next few years, it will be the Hawks and Rams fighting for the West, no the Niners.
But...right now, Seattle is just killing really good defenses. Bears. Niners. And killing them at what they are good at.

I think the NFCW is already one of the scariest teams in the NFL. My how times have changed in a couple of short years, from NFC Worst to NFC Best. And it'll only be baddassier next year. The Rams with Fisher are a team on the rise. Wish like hell he hadn't have gone there, because I think he's a great coach and he's going to do great things with the Rams. Luckily we have Carroll, one of the few coaches I wouldn't trade for Fisher.

As for nothing to root for for years, you mean, except for the Super Bowls and the "Greatest Show on Turf," right? There's been a lot to root for with the Rams over the years.

And thank you for the nod for the big dance. We hope so too!

I have a lot of respect for Rams fans. Anybody can be a fan of a team when they're winning, but it takes guts and dedication to stick with a team when they suck. And it seems to me that Rams fans take winning with a whole lot more grace than digits fans.

I am happy that the NFCW is commanding more respect league-wide. I look forward to some competitive seasons. Just keep on beating the digits. (You guys should have won that tie-game.)

Thanks for the well-wishes re: Super Bowl. Hopefully we roll over everyone on the way to the Lombardi.

I deal with them just fine. It's not my fault that your opinion is wrong.

  • Rams fans have good reason to be excited and hold some confidence. Fisher has done a great job with them. They kind of remind me of the Hawks in their first year with Carroll in that beat some teams that many thought they wouldn't. I totally understand them visualizing a victory in the Clink and picking the win. I would do it if I was a Rams fan.

Unfortunately for them, the Hawks still have something to play for. I don't see RW allowing a let down or flat performance and frankly that is the Rams only chance.

I don't like the spread though. That is a little generous of Vegas and if I was riding any money on this game I just might be compelled to take the Rams. It's a good thing I never bet. Yeah, I could easy see a double digit victory if things are clicking, but I expect Fisher to have the Rams prepared.

  • Here's to a good, injury free, game.

I'll check in after the game, win or lose.

I'll be at the Rams game this Sunday thanks to a friend of mine in the Rams Front Office .... a very kind old friend who provided me with tickets. With Jeff Fisher taking the helm ... the Rams are on the rise. Next year the NFC West is going to be even tougher!

Thank you Tailspin. Have fun at the game!

I'm looking forward to watching it, regardless of how it goes. Has been a fun season.

And I second the above post - here's to a good, injury free game.

  • Ram Rules..

LMAO! I have a couple of others.

"If Seahawk fans post anything that doesn't support a Rams victory or at least a close game on ClanRam, make sure and immediately remove their posting permissions if we lose."

  • I moved to St. Louis in May. It's amazing how little this town cares about the Rams. Even in November and December you see about 20 people wearing St. Louis Cardinals gear for every one wearing Rams gear.

  • My Congrats to the Seahawk fans! It was a good game, and you won.

Take your great team and go far in the playoffs. Seahawks SB win.

Looking forward to many years of great games against you.

  • Yeah, the Rams are gonna make some noise next year. They have a strong team. We might see 3 NFCW teams make the playoffs next year.
