http://www.csnbayarea.com/football-san- ... s-seahawksThey are the consensus no. 1 or 2 team in the NFL. I think they should be favored since they have the better record too. I guess Vegas really appreciates our homefield advantage. Our guys need to come out with the underdog mentality regardless of what the oddsmakers say.

The game opened with Seattle as 1pointfavorites. It quickly moved to a PICK and then to San Fran as 1point favorites. Late afternoon today it moved back to a PICK, where it remains at the moment.

And, by the way, it is conceivable that after tomorrow we may not find ourselves in an underdog role at home for a very very long time. Years.

Our guys need to come out with the underdog mentality regardless of what the oddsmakers say. um that would be ridiculous... the seahawks gave up just 17 points in the last 2 games while amassing 108 points on offense.. the Niners on the other hand, well you can do the math there is ABSOLUTELY no doubt which team is the hottest going into the Clink Sunday.. toss the keys boys, LOCKDOWN! and if the situation does present itself, you do have my OK to run it up... lol

Vegas typically gives the home team somewhere between 3 to 4 points to start with if I remember correctly. So if they have us as a one point favorite, then to me, that means they think the 49ers are a 2-3 point better team overall on a neutral field. I hope that makes some sense, but that's how my friends who are all over Vegas all the time have always explained it to me. Technically Vegas thinks the 49ers are better, they just put a lot of weight on the home field factor. Then they adjust on how the money comes in to make sure they make a big cut either way.

No one is taking that bet either way until that sf injury report come out. no justin smith and its a totally different ball game. even if he plays its imaginable that he won't be anywhere close to his best after a grueling game like that in boston.
also BUTLERS back! i think he is gonna be an X-factor in this game. he has breakaway speed (more than any reciever we have. i'm talkin jeremy lane/earl thomas on your offense fast). niners ar soft over the top. that combined with no pressure from aldon thanks to their being no justin and you have potential to destroy the niners.

I said last week after we resigned Butler that he'd catch the game winning TD that puts the nail in the coffin! Go Hawks!

I provided a link which will tell you the exact line at each of the major Sportsbooks in Vegas. AND it is updated approximately hourly. Currently, It is a PICK(as it has been for as long as this thread has been active regardless of what else you have read in this thread).

Hawks -1 that means the Hawks have to beat the Niners by 2 or more to earn your paycheck had you bet on the Seahawks...
the way I hear niners fans talk the niners should be like -24, but that 17-108 was cuz of the team you played, and you lost to the Rams 2 weeks ago why?
its like Vegas has no idea the Pats played one of their worst first halves ever of football and the niners gave up 4 straight TDs in the 2nd half only to win with a lucky kick return and blown coverage TD, and that the entire New England area was in mourning...
spectacular, lets see, tick tock, tick tock, nope, no major disruptions as of yet round the greater Puget Sound area, hmmm, vegas still has time to adjust though...

Can you please explain how us 49ers fans are being cocky. Cause, from all the posts I have read on here, it is the Seahawks fans that are being way too over-confident. I also like how everything the 49ers did right against the Pats was based off shear luck. While the Pats "played one of their worst first halves ever of football." You don't think that the 49ers just dominated? You really are a great football mind and an awesome contributor to this board.

All of your cocky buddies have either received the ban hammer or had their ignorant threads placed in the shack. I would guess that you will not be far behind them with that last sentence that you wrote.

Hawks CLEARLY have the momentum and undefeated at home as well, how close was the game when they played in candlestick? well there ya go...
