Has anyone heard anything regarding his appeal? The only thing I found online was that they were going to decide next week on what to do.

Also said on ATL that Seahawks CB Richard Sherman will not hear from the league on his appeal before Sunday's game, clearing him to play.

He is playing

latest tweet, who knows if it's for sure or not though.

RT @AlbertBreer: Seahawks CB Richard Sherman will not hear from the league on his appeal before Sunday's game, clearing him to play.

That mirrors what most experts have predicted. His hearing was only scheduled to be heard today. A ruling was not expected until next week.

Why is it so hard to write a proper title for a thread?

Such as
Anything new on Richard Sherman?
When will Sherman hear about suspension?
When will we hear about Sherman's suspension?
Has Sherman been cleared yet?
Will Sherman play this Sunday?

This is a money game for the NFL brand. Only a NE meltdown prevented it from being (arguably) the biggest game of the season. No way would Goodell keep one of the league's top players sidelined if it could be avoided, IMO.

The board could use some better functionality when mouse hovering over the title... Showing the first line or so of the message..

In fairness to the OP... What was he going to write in the message body if he gave it all away in the title :p

John Clayton on Sportscenter says that it looks like Sherman is getting the suspension and it'll start next week, the ruling coming as early as Monday.

The only bright side is Browner will have served his punishment by the start of the playoffs so he'll be back in time for them.

If we can somehow, someway pull out a trip to the superbowl (crosses fingers)... Sherman would be back for the big game if his suspension starts in week 17.

If not, will Sherman will miss the start of next season. :?

Sherman may have benn "pullin' the wool over some fans eyes", but he wasn't fooling John Clayton. John said that it was just a matter of time before he was suspended.

I sure wish that thE NFL could find a more appropriate and consistent solution to PED's.

Wow...I can't believe the "I accidently drank from another players water bottle that was apparently spiked with a banned substance" story fell short. Goodell is like a human lie detector!

Goodell or Clayton?

I have this image in my head of Goodell as Charlie Brown and Clayton as Linus.

Interesting. Can't find anything on the web or Twitter to confirm this. The most recent story on ESPN is about him missing practice to travel to the appeal.

Two hours ago:

Richard Sherman ‏@RSherman_25

No questions about the appeal please the result will be announced soon enough. And I will be out there with my teammates Sunday!
