As a long time season ticket holder, one of the things that has bummed me out since the start of Holmgren's last year was that we seemed to lose the enormous home field advantage that our stadium seemed to create. It just kind of lost the magic and luster of the '03-'07 seasons previous.

Pete Carroll and Russel Wilson have brought it back. Once again, when the National media speaks of Seattle it seems universally known as the loudest, toughest place to play in the whole NFL. The place that made Joe Gibbs almost cry after a playoff game because his QB "couldn't even be heard in the huddle" is back. The place that has made numerous visiting teams accuse us of fake noise is back.

Let's blow the roof off that place on Sunday night, and show the whole country their perceptions are valid. I want that place NFC championship loud. GO HAWKS!!!

I agree with the idea that the enthusiasm as a whole at the stadium had been waning the last few years. Glad to see that it's back.

Just saw Steven A Smith talking up the 12th man. I know the team doesnt always get the respect it deserves, but DAMN, 12's sure do!

I am SO excited to be there on Sunday night. I'm taking my dad to the game as an early Christmas present. Can't wait!

And most have even forgotten the Clink was a domed stadium prior to the Beastquake run when the 12th man blew the lid off the mother.

Little known fact: It wasn't snow which destroyed the Metrodome roof, it was the tremors from the Beastquake rippling back in time.

If you are at the game Sunday and can still speak and hear afterwards you didn't do it right.

Here is a break down of Seahawks/Qwest/Century Link since it opened:

2002: 3-5
2003: 8-0
2004: 5-3 (0-1 playoffs)
2005: 8-0 (2-0 playoffs)
2006: 5-3 (1-0 playoffs)
2007: 7-1 (1-0 playoffs)
2008: 2-6
2009: 4-4
2010: 5-3 (1-0 playoffs)
2011: 4-4
2012: 6-0

Overall: 57-29 (5-1 playoffs)

When I look at that breakdown, and take out the two garbage seasons of '08 and '09, we've been pretty dang dominant at home. The sad part is, out of all those seasons the only time we had a better than .500 record on the road was the '05 season when we were 5-3.

If we can win these last 2 games, it would be the third time in a decade we went undefeated at home. Let's get it done!!!

Unfortunately I think there's going to be too many red and gold jerseys this Sunday at the CLink. They all came out of woodworks when their team starting winning a year ago.

The 12th man is going have to bring it, and treat this like a play off game.
