Appeal of the four-game suspension for Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will be held Friday, two days before game vs. SF.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
If appeal upholds CB Richard Sherman's suspension Friday, he would be out vs SF, but there is no indication of timing on an appeal decision.

Yeah...that's pretty shitty timing. Better pray we make the playoffs and can win two games without him.

They probably wouldn't rule on the appeal until next week, so I bet Sherman plays against the 9ers and gets suspended for the Rams, if his appeal fails as expected.

EDIT: This is based on his originally scheduled hearing occurring last week but yet expected to play against the Bills. Hopefully this holds again.

Which means he'd be available for SF, but will most likely miss the Rams + first 3 rounds of the playoffs. We'll get him back for the Superbowl, though.

Perfect timing when you think about it. We'll be that much better for the big game!

In all the excitement of potentiall making the playoffs I had completely forgot about this (can't believe it)...was definitely thinking they could have dragged it into next year.

Bodden used to be good when he was on the Browns. That seems like a long time ago though.

Kelly Jennings. The Return.

And there's always Pete Hunter.
