  • I HATE the belly section being whatever material that is. Looked like some of them had been rolling in a mud puddle early on. That being said if they play like this every time they wear them then I'm fine with it.

  • They would be fine if not for that tampon belly square. I actually thought they had a darker grey material until I realized it was sweat.

  • Burn all white uni's and pants. Wolf gray should be the new visiting uniform and blue be the home uniform from here on out.

  • All I know is, the Hawks scored 50 points the first time they wore em, so the grey on grey uni's are ingrained in my mind as AWESOME.

But with all of our uniforms/color combos in general, I think they look better from a distance, like on TV, than up close, like that picture.

I like different. What I DON'T like is a grey so close to white it looks like WHITE but DIRTY.

I want an alternate uniform that LOOKS DIFFERENT than our other uniforms. Not sort of similar to our whites.

Why is this so hard to understand??

Because I'm sure the league has strict rules about how light/dark your away uniforms can be compared to your home uniforms, and likely, this is as dark as they can probably get them?

I think my biggest holdup of all is the weird semi-neon green trim with the grey.

  • My only issue is that the sweat patch in the middle of the jersey was really distracting from the overall look- monochromatic isn't bad until it isn't monochromatic. I would also rather see them with the blue pants, but we did just hang a Kennedy on those Bills...(maybe better a Grant since they're Bills?)

  • I love the gray pants - kind of a nod to our silver days. The gray top would work much better with the blue pants, imo.

I'm not as passionate one way or the other about them as I thought I'd be when I first saw them, though. I like them, but I still like our standard unis better. The all-white look is sharp as hell - really crisp and clean.

  • Don't care for the all greys. Just looks like a bad laundry day.

    I DO like in order:

    Home:
    --Blue top, grey pants
    --All blues

    Away:
    --White top, blue pants
    --All white
    --White top, grey pants

Aros, what alternative uni idea do you have? For me, utilizing the action green as a primary is not an option LOL

  • I think the all grey uniforms did not work against the very dull green color of the turf in Toronto. They blended into the background a bit too much. Maybe on a different field that was more green than grey.

Frankly the best road combination I've seen is the white jersey with the blue pants. They used that combo in the Denver preseason game.

  • I've been pretty consistent in saying this, I don't dislike any of the colors, it's the combinations that I don't like. By that, I mean the single color pant/jersey combos. I Like any of the mixed combos together, just not the monotones. They just don't work for me.

As for the green shoes, I don't think they make the grey or any other uniform look bad, but the green shoes themselves do look bad no matter what they are worn with.

Finally, I really don't care. As long as the players like what they are wearing, and have no issues with them, then I say let 'em wear whatever combo they can.

We are undefeated in the Wolf Gray, that's all I care about

Yep, this pretty much settles it. I've always loved the Wolf Grey as compared to the whites, and now there's no argument. :3:
