Isn't there a backwards raindance us PNWesterners can perform to change conditions on the east coast? Or is there a geographical limit to such metaphysical reaches?

Slick fields typically favor the passing game. WRs know where they are going so can run with direction. DBs have to adjust.

The silver lining is:
1. SF is playing a sloppy game....they're getting saved by favorable bounces.
2. Iupati may be injured....hate to see any player getting injured...but that would help Seattle if he sits out.

Lol. I'd buy that tonight if they weren't playing that 9er defense. But the conditions take no account of offensive or defensive players.

My comment was directed at the incorrect notion that rain hinders offenses. A wet (or snowy) field favors offensive oriented teams. WRs love both rain and snow and history shows many high scoring games played under such conditions.
