I'm not an nfl tiebreaker/ rules afficianado like some of you on here. If we beat SF and win out, and they lose to another team that isn't us, do we win the west outright? Does it depend on who they lose to?

How about this - say the hawks and the digits win out besides the game vs eachother, but they tie that game; does it go to the digits?

Thank god for excel.
Seahawks would end 10-5-1 and 49rs would win the division @ 10-4-2 in that scenario

What if two teams ended the year atop the division at 0-0-16. Who would win the division?

And yeah, I know it would never happen but I'm curious and too lazy to google.

worst possible record for a division "winner" is 3-13..in this scenario all 4 teams in the division only win games in the division and all tie at 3-3...

In this completely ludicrous scenario the 6th tiebreaker is strength of schedule...

If it goes past that?? well then I'll need to have this shacked to express my feelings towards your question

C'mon now, you know you want to see an entire division finish at 0-10-6

That would be the worst case of blue balls in NFL history. As long as it wasn't us (or our division), it would be hilarious.
