  • What I love about him is that not only is he a fantastic QB - maybe the best in the game at throwing on the run, throws a beautiful deep ball, runs better than a lot of running backs, and reads defenses like they are children's books, but he's a role model of a person. I want him to be my sons role model and sports hero because he is a fine example to follow.

Marshawn Lynch is a beast. I freaking love him. the team needs him. He's mean and nasty on the field. But, do I want him to be my kid's role model. Not really.

I hope this is the start of a 10-12 year dynasty. I can't wait.

  • From the Seahawks subreddit:

"If Russell Wilson asked me for permission to marry my daughter, I'd give him my blessing. My daughter is 2."

    I actually laughed out loud.

  • I typically loathe told you so's. But trust me, I'm remembering every single snarky comment towards my Wilson jersey I got at Temple prior to the GB game.

  • I keep a photo of Russell Wilson in my cell phone. When things get rough at work, I take a look at him and everything looks better.

By the way, I have a photo of Russell Wilson in my wallet...It is OVER my kids photos.

  • My wife, who rarely ever watches football (but doesn't me grief about nearly obsessing about it - bless her lovely heart!) has already said a couple times that he's cute.....maybe she'll start watching and give me someone to share it with (ie Wilson Love).

    Thanks Russ!

  • Another thing I love about him is how casual he looks while running. It's like he doesn't have to expend any effort or break a sweat. Sort of like Bill Nye as "Speedwalker."

  • I love that in the midst of winning yet anohter tight game russell was more concerned with the health of his reciever. He really looked ready to bust some heads to if you look at the replay. i love this guy. this is KING AURTHUR level leadership here. I honestly would rather have dangeruss than rg3 or luck. there i said it.

  • I want to attach a device to Wilson that measures his pulse during game action. I'm willing to bet no matter what happens, it doesn't change.

    He's ice.

  • If I were to happen upon Russell Wilson walking towards me on the sidewalk, I would get on my knees and bow in reverence.

    Edited: sp correction.
