Sherman and Browner facing suspension

The Essential Online Seahawks Fan Forum Community. There simply is NO substitute. RATING: PG-13

  • We shall overcome.

Seriously, it's time to open it up on both sides of the ball. Let Russell do his thing and let the rest of the defense loose! The Giants have won Super Bowls by getting after the quarterback with solid but unspectacular play from their corners and linebackers. The same can be done in Seattle.

This team was built to withstand devastating blows like they received today. I'm not giving up on them. We're back in the underdog role, just where we like it!

Hmmm. Wondering what your basis is for this? If these guys in fact, cheated, then f them. That's not the kind of team I want to cheer for. We as fans have a right to be pissed.

First of all I doubt its roids.

Second of all, steroids does not make you into an elite corner.

Since when does having more muscle mass and weight help you cover?

Only benefit it could have for corners is to increase the rate of injury recovery.

LOL no there's a new magical drug that makes you an elite corner. I'm gonna buy it off the internet and try and get a tryout with the Hawks. SMH

  • It'll be easy for everyone to jump on these guys and rip on them. The team acts as a family. They let down the family with their actions but we must give them support and stand by them. Otherwise we're just like the fans of the other teams that we hate so much. I understand everyone being pissed because this throws a huge monkey wrench into the season, but who knows, maybe this lights a fire under everyone's ass.

Just look at the Giants. A mountain of injuries last season and they still managed to get it done when NO ONE believed in them but themselves. This team must take the same approach from here on out. Go for the glory.

I didn't want to comment because i'm sure you guys don't want to hear the thoughts of a 49ers fan, but this is the dumbest post ever. Roids don't just increase body mass-- why do you think olympic sprinters and bicyclists take steroids? It makes you faster too.

Regardless, I think it was Adderall they are being accused of...

  • This is going to be a huge hit on us, no doubt. But we can overcome. Sure we might not win another game on the road, but I have full confidence in them winning out at home. 9-7 isnt the worst thing that can happen. So we might not make the playoffs with that record, big deal. We arent winning the SB this year anyways.

Next year will be our year to jump to serious contenders. We got our QB of the future. That in itself has made this season a success in my book.

I think two 7-9 seasons followed up by a 6-10 year very well could be grounds for a coaching change.

Of course that all depends on just what comes out of this situation. How much does Pete know? It's looking kinda like the inmates are running the assilum.

Hopefully not as I like Carroll.

I agree here. I had people calling me an idiot for saying another losing season would be the end of Carrolls tenure here.

I made it clear that I don't want Carroll fired but it's a win NOW league. How many .500 and sub .500 seasons you think the big boss man is going to put up with?

So we'll never really know, I guess. Either way, not good, very stupid.

  • Both these guys have to take a long look at themselves now and realise they didn't just let down the fans and the team but themselves. No matter what happens, they'll be known for taking PEDs and that's something they'll have to work against for the rest of there careers. If they truly are innocent of taking anything (and it'll be interesting to see how they attempt to spin it) then I hope they get an appeal through and the accusations are withdrawn, but if not then I hope they can man up and admit they did a stupid ass thing and apologise to everyone for it.

As for innocent until proven guilty? well by failing the drug test they have already been proven guilty, now they need to prove themselves innocent... it doesn't happen very often when drug tests fail.

After the suspension is done, I'll be supporting them as always, hoping they can prove us all wrong and in the offseason re-evaluate themselves mentally.

Yeah... screw the last three years of building around this vision. Let's blow it up and start again. After all, everyone knows the best thing for a young QB is multiple coaching changes. Plus, we can just use Bruce Irvin as an orthodox DE in the next scheme.

And I really fear the day Ryan Lindley marches into Century Link to combat our replacement corners. Scary eh? No way we'll win that one against the Cards. Or the game against St. Louis who got owned at home by a shambolic New York last week. And the Bills are great too, especially with that defeaning home field advantage in Toronto. So we'll lose every game now. Because of no corners.

And when that happens... because the two starters didn't do a good enough job on their own checking what they can and cannot put in their body, we'll fire the coach. Give Brad Childress a call or something because he'll know what to do. Time for another major rebuild.

Stuff like this almost makes me long for the days of Wilson vs Flynn. Almost.

  • The team's struggling on the road with them, so this just makes it harder if they're suspended.

And while we can critize the Buffalo home crowd, but did you see the half empty stadium in Miami? Crowds do not seem to be a factor.....whatever it is, this coaching staff needs to fix it and fix it fast!

  • Relax, it's adderall. It's not the most powerful substance out there and honestly I don't see how it gives you an advantage

I've been on adderall for about 4 years, it's not as strong as people think

I'm disappointed in both of them if this is true but lets see how this plays out and see if it was in fact their error or someone elses
