The report isn't online yet, and I'll post in it's entirety once it's updated, but I'm hearing that both Wright and Carpenter are out with Morgan and Moffit in their places respectively.

With a full week under their belts, I think we'll see a little more disciplined play by Morgan and Moffit, who was pretty solid for the most part last week, should be again this week

We aren't exactly playing an offensive juggernaut, so KJ's absence is a bummer but not a big problem (IMO). Morgan made it through last week relatively intact after a few initial bad plays, and that was against the best RB in the league.

And I'm more than happy with our depth on the OL. Moffitt will be fine.

Clare Farnsworth updated his blog on the .com site with confirmation on the Wright/Carpenter report

I like Pete's quote:

“It’s not about who’s stepping down, it’s who’s stepping up,” Carroll said.

On a related note...we have great depth on this team.
Do you remember before PC/JS got here? Scary if a starter got injured.

CB Walter Thurmond, still game-time decision to play vs Jets.

I hadn't realized it before, but our entire interior D-line except Mebane was on the injury report this week. Hope Jones, Bryant, and Clint are close to 100%.

I haven't seen Branch on any reports either. Looks like we have our starters, so we are pretty good off.

This is going to be a huge preplaned opportunity for Mike Morgan. Leroy Hil will probably be a 3 down linebacker in the absence of KJ Wright.

Looking at the injuries to the defensive line ........ could DT Jaye Howard see the field of play this week?

I'm hoping a full week practicing with the starters will allow Morgan to make a better showing this week.

I would hope Morgan would be more ready after a week with the 1st string.I am interested to see how Howard does.I think this would be his 1st game.I think he has been inactive all season.Only 5 LBs dressed is a concern though.
