Sorry Marcus,...........

....but Walter should take YOUR spot in the nickel-an'-dime (as he gets into game shape),.......

.........and you are (officially) the "experienced" member on a playoff caliber team. But I see Trufant as a "mentor" and backup.

This year,.........

....he just MIGHT,......

..........get his ring,.....

.....as a coach.

It's already been said he isn't being activated this week. I doubt when he does that he will take over for Trufant. The guy is probably rusty as hell.

That was a lot of periods, and I don't get it. You're seriously saying that of all players on the team Marcus Trufant would get cut in favor of Walter (injury waiting to happen) Thurmond and would be given a coaching job with the team? So they wouldn't cut one of the young DB's that never plays, but instead they'd cut their #3 CB in place of Walter? Hmmmmm, this might be the most "interesting" post I've read here in quite some time.

P.S. Walter isn't getting activated this week.

If Thurmond had actually shown anything more than potential and a disposition to get and stay injured I'd be encouraged.

Potential is all he shown so far.
