Thanks for the update. Pete said they'd make the decision today, and from the sounds of it, this was the decision I expected. We really have no time to practice this week, so making any major changes that aren't absolutely necessary, adds an element of risk to it. I think bringing him back next week with a full week (plus some) to practice will be more beneficial to us and himi.

Plus if you activate him now, they need to cut someone who is ready to play.

Good call IMHO… I don't think so. He should have a 2-3 week roster exemption IIRC. IAE it's the right call. He wouldn't play Thursday anyway.
