I actually a don't think. NET had anything to do with it. It's all about publicity. Sherman made himself a name people know. That is more likely the reason droe this poll result. People vote for familiarity.

Yea, don't think dot NET had much to do with this, but he was clearly working his ass off that game. And after. And then some more.

And many NFL fans around the US are sick and tired of Tom Brady.
Sherm now has a national following of sorts as someone who stood up to Brady and performed when it counted.
